Promise.withResolvers() has hit Stage 4, is in Chrome+FF, and is easy to polyfill. This is really handy for situations where you don't want to pass work into a Promise, but instead pass around the resolve/reject methods. Super handy for callback and stream based APIs

API design is hard. I've noticed it often seems to be a more deliberate and democratic process in libraries than in the web platform itself. Forming a hypothesis that this is because libraries must compete for users, whereas the platform's audience is captive

I finally caught COVID while at home with access to my lab (instead of my 1st infection where I was stuck travelling). Comparing test sensitivity and testing stool samples were at the top of my "to experiment" list. What else should I experiment on myself with?
Rick Byers@RickByersLab

@JusDayDa @SolidEvidence FWIW, I've so far failed to replicate this in my current case, even after getting a strongly positive nasal test. I don't doubt it, but wanted to share my experimental results regardless of outcome like a good scientist ☺️.

What happens when you manage social media wrong? - people die - swatting - girls get anorexia - genocide - elections are stolen - friends and family are lost to conspiracy theories like Q anon A rocket sounds fucking easy compared to that. Plus he exploded the landing pad 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Amazing to see this come full circle: this module both inspired the native web platform feature and is now implemented in terms of the platform feature. Huge win for typography on the web!

The new React Wrap Balancer 1.0 version now uses the native CSS feature `text-wrap: balance` automatically when it’s available! Read more about the release: github.com/shuding/react-… CSS `text-wrap: balance`: developer.chrome.com/blog/css-text-… react-wrap-balancer.vercel.app

❤️ #IDAHOT

Another project my team has launched this quarter. Chrome has now support for color spaces and wide color gamut. CSS now can do color-mix(). We also made gradients prettier! :)
Chrome for Developers@ChromiumDev

Build a wide gamut color palette with okLCH in today's #GUIChallengegoo.gle/433cAlT @argyleink walks you through checking accessible color pairs, inspecting color with devtools, and tricks for leveraging the features of this new web color space.
