There are very few excuses for Gecko, just FYI we have people working at Brave who launched Firefox 1.0 that know the inside out of Gecko, but we still decided to go with Chromium because it doesn't suck Our goal isn't creating a new engine so I don't get your point, our goal is making the internet more secure and private, no one is hiding Brave history we fucked up a lot of time (like everyone does) but unlike other companies we fixed it and moved on if we were to dwell on the past nothing would be done

We'd never base Brave on worse engines like WebKit or Gecko, we are forced to base it on WebKit on iOS because thanks Apple! Ladybird Alpha is set to release this year, they are porting stuff over to Rust now so it might be delayed, you said that you could "guarantee with absolute 100% certainty that" Ladybird safer than any Chromium browser but I feel like you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about

I’ll replace @ZenBrowser with @Brave if they leave Chromium altogether for LadyBird, WebKit or even an own flavour of KHTML if not Gecko
