@rishabhm You can solve the control problem easily by changing the voting structure. Also, money is not the only motivation at this level: impact, glory and influence - they remain unaffected by this plan. This is not a bad direction to think about. Govt spending should get better.

But with a wealth tax in place, Jeff would have never reached $222B. Every year Jeff would have had to sell Amazon stock to pay your wealth tax. Eventually Jeff wouldn't have control of Amazon. And without him calling the shots, the company that employs 500K people in the US wouldn't have become what it is. That would have been a significant net reduction in taxes collected by the Govt. I refuse to believe that you are this dumb. Clearly you are choosing mischief over constructive policy making.

Income tax rates should be 0% for poor people, 25% for middle class people, 40% for rich people, and 70% on every dollar past $10M. There should also be a 5% wealth tax on anyone with more than $1B in assets.

Ex Education minister needs some real education. Talk to us about this: Is Bengaluru generating its own power and water? Cauvery water flows from Mandya/Mysore through pipes to Bengaluru. Power is drawn from RTPS in Raichur and Sharavati from Shimoga. Arent we more connected?

A relative of my client today called me for 4 Networth Certificates of his family for giving it to the bank. I saw the ITR & Balance Sheet as on 31.03.2025, each having an Income of more than 50 Lakhs and Capital Balance of more than 15 Crore. I quoted 15k for each certificate. What the person said actually shocked me. "He said our regular CA has quoted 5k for each certificate which I felt was high so I had contacted you and you are quoting much higher fees" I simply said please get it done from your regular CA, I can't lower it. Some few points I noticed in this case: 1. The client isn't loyal to anyone, if the other CA quotes a Rs 1000 less client will go there. 2. People earning in crores, still try to get a discount of Rs 1000/- or 2000/- 3. People nowadays to save a very few bucks can share their financial data with anyone & everyone. #CA_Practice

Big story: No person who professes a religion other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism shall be a member of Scheduled caste. Conversion to any other religion results in loss of Scheduled caste status : Supreme Court. Basically, Dalit Christians can’t take advantage of SC protection. Qs is: does religion change end caste discrimination? Courts may need a reality check!

Converting to any other religion wouldn't change the fact they're Scheduled Castes, nor would it alter how they are viewed in Indian society. It wouldn't erase the historical disabilities imposed upon them for thousands of years. Nor would it grant them the inter-generational wealth enjoyed by the Upper(ed) castes. So what? They should still suffer in a religion that's deeply rooted in casteism. They should still endure insults in temples. A Brahmin judge, Mishra ji, and an Upper(ed) Caste judge from Gujarat, Anjaria ji, get to decide who are Scheduled Castes & what religion they should follow. Thanks to Collegium System.

This Supreme Court judgment will give a free hand to dominant castes to harass Dalits in Andhra & Tamil Nadu. They will now brand everyone as Christians, not let them practice their faith freely, commit atrocities & get away with no action of law. I urge Dalits (hopefully, STs & non-feudal OBCs too, who also face a similar kind of social exclusion & exploitation. Show your solidarity to SC brothers & sisters.) who are still practising Hinduism to kindly consider embracing the path of Babasaheb Ambedkar & convert to Buddhism on a large scale, as a mark of protest to this Supreme Court judgement. We should also identify our religion as Buddhism (applies to Christian Dalits as well) in the upcoming Caste Census. We can effectively fight the Brahminical forces only when the percentage of the Hindu population drops significantly. Let's remember the famous quote of Thomas Jefferson, "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."
