Traders Confessions
Traders Confessions@TradersConf·
I know a guy who was a profitable trader for like 15+ years. Just trading his own capital and was living the dream - making $30-50k most months, travelling the world with his wife, living in a nice house, all that. 2 years ago he went on a crazy losing streak and lost about 70% of his trading capital. Since then he hasn’t gone for more than 2 months being profitable. He’s really stressed and is trying to go back to work but after not working for 15+ years he’s struggling to get a decent job. How is this even possible?

The best scalper I have ever heard of and who I personally try to emulate was a guy I heard about from a few different firms. He didn't make the most money, but he basically never lost. Like every day +$20k and often much more. He was a machine. Seeing people that are universally respected in the industry talk about him like he was Michael Jordan showed me how insane this dude was.

@BearOnWindows95 The best scalper in the world was Paul Rotter, right? @grok ?

World Markets
World Markets@worldmarketsinc·
We built World Markets for a simple reason: to give traders more ways to make money Today, the full-spectrum of risk is structurally inaccessible to most users. This pushes users to either low-yield lending or perp/meme hyper-gambling The best ways to make money trading: basis, funding arb, carry, are simple in theory. But they’ve been gated in practice. World’s ATLAS risk engine creates entirely new ways to sustainably make money onchain. One account. Spot, perps, and lending unified. Every position collateralizes the rest. Your collateral earns yield while it backs your trades. The result of this is simple: You make more money Built for traders, market-makers, passive LPs, delta-neutral farmers, arbitrageurs. and degens alike. Run a leveraged basis trade. Borrow under-collateralized. Arb perpetual funding. Carry trade Turkish Lira. Same deposit. Bigger positions. Safer liquidations. World is the exchange where your money truly works for you. Our new brand reflects that. Better than CEX

@lBattleRhino Ai increased electricity costs which caused miners to go bankrupt and forced them to offload their books which is like 10% of total btc float

In your opinion why did crypto underperform broader markets by such a large degree and what is going to change this next year or in the coming years if anything

People think silver is being hoarded. While true, it’s not because of retail but rather that physical silver is needed for a lot of new age tech infrastructure.
