GoMining is the only investment in the crypto world that hasn’t failed me. (Based on my personal experience)
GoMining@GoMining

Hey, GoMiners! We’ve been mining Bitcoin for a very long time — and over the years we’ve seen all kinds of brutal downturns - and although these are expected as part and parcel of the Bitcoin ecosystem, we understand that it doesn’t make it any easier when downturns happen. - We’re here to support you, as always. - We lived through the 2018 crash. - We lived through COVID, when in March 2020 Bitcoin dropped to $3,000 and back then it felt like everything was over, but the market recovered again. - We lived through 2021 with all its sharp swings, highs and lows. - We lived through the FTX collapse, when once again, the market again fell to very low levels. But through all of the ups and downs, we kept doing the same thing: we mined Bitcoin and built products aiming to help everyone to unlock the full potential of Bitcoin. We believe Bitcoin will recover again and ultimately grow in the long term. And our community means the world to us — we truly value your strength and dedication to building a future that we all believe in. And that’s why we’re continuing to find ways to improve the Bitcoin landscape for our community. We’re launching — and will keep launching — so many great products: - Simple Earn, where you can earn Bitcoin rewards on your idle assets - a first-to-market release - A lending product to give you access to liquidity without selling your Bitcoin or mining power - And very soon — we’ll launch our biggest product to date: Bitcoin payments with fast and zero fees on transactions inside the GoMining protocol, which will turn the industry upside down, give Bitcoin a major boost, and provide you with a real way to pay with Bitcoin on-chain in your day-to-day life - All this goes to show how GoMining is becoming a full-service ecosystem where you can earn and use your Bitcoin, safely, securely, and all in one app We understand that things might seem tough right now, but we’ll get through it together. As always, and as we have done many times before. To make sure you feel supported and encouraged through these challenging times, we are giving another 15% discount on all miner purchases and power upgrades - the maximum we can offer. This extra discount applies to hashrate purchases and upgrades until Bitcoin recovers to $80,000. app.gomining.com I’d like to thank our community for its on-going determination and resilience. Our team keeps working around the clock to bring Bitcoin’s promise to you. Please share this message with your likeminded Bitcoin Maxi’s as we need to support each other in these turbulent times. On behalf of the GoMining Team, Yours, Mark Zalan GoMining CEO

This company of 200 employees seems to be firing 80% people. Small IT companies will lead the firing. They are lot more agile than the biggies. My friends company is firing 50% employees in next 6 months.

@SumitM_X Think of NULL as Unknown. SQL is a 3 valued logic. True, False, Null. So Null = Null will return Null. Imagine you have 2 boxes that you don't know what is inside them. When you are asked box1 = box2 ,the answer "I don't know". But when asked is box1 unknown you will say yes.

@mkurman88 If there is a way to use any model you want it will be better. For example if you can use your Claude subscription (or any subscription) in antigravity it would be nice.

I challenge Vibe Coders 👇 Since AI is replacing developers, I challenge non-developers to build an app using any AI they want. 🎯 Task: Build an Android app that mines KASPA ✅ Publish the full source code on GitHub. No screenshots. No “trust me bro.” Remember: non-developers

@yacineMTB Even when you add strict instructions file, many times it will ignore it. I think this is because it is biased towards the training data. This is an issue in all LLM. That is why you should review the task once it is done to make sure it follows what you want.

claude opus 4.5 is a laughably bad programmer. like comically bad. every single thing that i haven't explicitly asked for that it does is in extremely bad taste

@bindureddy You have to think of it as junior developer that works for you. You describe the architecture, technical details and rules it should follow, the let it develop the system for you, step by step. And before going to next step you have to review and approve the work.

AI is an excellent coder, but a poor software engineer It struggles to understand complex code bases, debug hard bugs and or do robust testing Instead it hallucinates and gaslights you that it has aced everything 😂

@jwatte @bindureddy I used Opus 4.5 for a month on a project. When the code base became large it struggled to understand the code that it generated 2 weeks ago. You have to correct it, and then you get the famous response: "Sorry, you are right, let's update..."

@bindureddy That was the state of the world six months ago. Two things have improved since then: - Opus 4.5 is better than all the other models. - Augment context engine helps understand large code bases. It's still not perfect, but it's absolutely passed the "positive value" point!

@hunvreus It’s the same as asking AI to write a scientific paper about a topic you don’t understand. It looks solid to you — until a professor reads it and instantly spots the mistakes. Then AI replies: “Sorry, my mistake…”

Either I’m a moron, or people bragging about one-shotting hyper polished apps are full of sh*t. I still spend a lot of time on UI/UX, security, optimization, documentation… With AI, I get to try more things, more quickly, but it’s still a slow process.

@hunvreus Bad AI code looks impressive to non-developers. To experienced developers, it feels exactly like those useless AI answers you’ve already seen in other topics.

@jkaartinen @Grummz But for non-developers, it’s risky. If you don’t understand what the code is really doing, you can’t judge performance, scalability, or long-term impact. “It works” is false confidence.

@ios_developer84 @Grummz That's the key to using it. Make sure it knows how it should write the code. Make sure all the important project knowledge/principles is either in the CLAUDE.md file or in separate files indexed from there. Claude can do most of that work as well, if you ask it

Claude opus 4 .5 has been around for months, it hasn’t changed. But in the past 2 weeks, rafts of coders, some very experienced, are suddenly claiming that coding is solved. Is this a form of AI psychosis? Where the belief that Opus 4.5 is a miracle coder is being reinforced, not just by the AI, but by numerous social media confirmations by other coders who may also be falling into AI psychosis? To me, that this recent tend is erupting so suddenly, when we’ve had Opus 4.5 for months, is interesting and potentially a red flag. As for my own experiments with 4.5 and other models, AI in coding can be very amazing and useful, but I still have to be the architect, and it still blows up and fails a lot. Psychosis can be induced by multiple people each confirming each others beliefs. This is how tribal bubbles work, and how hype gets generated by marketing and social trends. It’s worth noting that and thinking through it.

@jkaartinen @Grummz My point is, it is great for developers who actually know the technology. If you understand the language, framework, database, and production behavior, AI becomes a huge accelerator — saving time without lowering quality.

Eventually: The codebase becomes inconsistent Performance regressions are unpredictable Refactoring becomes risky No one fully understands the system — not even the AI At that point, “AI-assisted development” turns into AI-assisted technical debt.

There’s a lot of hype right now around “anyone can build software with AI.” In reality, AI can absolutely help — but only if you already understand what you’re building. Otherwise, you may be shipping problems you don’t even see.
