Update- I have a prayer request! 6 months after my husbands Terminal diagnosis of Glioblastoma we have his next MRI scheduled tomorrow at 10:00 Pacific. Please pray that there is no new growth and his brain scan is normal again. My husband had to miss his last therapy of #ANKTIVA and NK cell infusion 2 weeks ago as he had the flu. @bullishbruk @tteuscher

@HollensbeAmanda Oh okay.. may have been a good move! Cuz after 1 week of radiation i had a 6cm cyst form where my tumor was initially removed. If its any consolation The cyst removal went so much smoother than the initial tumor removal. Walked out of the hospital in 2 days!

@jumpandexplore She’s never had any radiation, ironically. We opted out of standard of care.

I’ve been quiet because things have been moving very quickly. Last week, Braelyn’s MRI showed aggressive new growth, large cyst formation, significant edema, and considerable midline shift. When local options stalled, we received a call from Dr. Linda Liau’s office after her team reviewed Braelyn’s scans. Two days later, we had a telehealth visit. Dr. Liau and her tumor board concluded Braelyn needs surgery ASAP. We arrived in LA yesterday. She’ll undergo extensive testing this week and brain mapping surgery with tumor removal next week. Her tumor will be prepared for an autologous dendritic cell vaccine through either a clinical trial or compassionate use. We remain hopeful immune-based therapies — including Dr. Patrick’s Anktiva — can be part of Braelyn’s treatment path as we continue pursuing every possible option. We are grateful beyond words and not giving up.

After 6 Anktiva treatments for glioblastoma, Lori Mills' husband, Andrew, has a *normal* brain scan. He begins PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitors on 2/24. Dr. Soon-Shiong's Anktiva steps on the gas. PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitors cut the brakes. PD-L1, a protein often found on tumors, stops NK cells from killing cancer. But PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitors enable NK cells to do their job, killing the cancer, full steam ahead. @DrPatrick #glioblastoma #ANKTIVA

Actually. Trial sites have increased from 3 to 4. Just noticed today a new site in Tenesee. But aside from Hoag and soon-shiong institute theres another one in st. jude providence in fullerton. I agree single patient access may be the way to go but ive met people on social media who thought they wont make it in for different reasons. For example more than 2 recurrence or was previously on avastin but the principal investigator on the trial site was able to get them in after discussing with immunitybio their specific case. I think doing both wouldn’t hurt. God works miracles through many ways. But ofcourse whatever your heart is pushing you to go..

@jumpandexplore @HollensbeAmanda There are not other trial sites but Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. They will be bound by the same FDA guidelines. She needs a single patient approval.

Today we learned that Braelyn was denied access to the Anktiva clinical trial. Trial criteria are rigid. Cancer is not. We will now pursue single patient expanded access. We are not stopping. #GBM #Anktiva #ImmunityBio #ChildhoodCancer #SaveBraelyn

@drterrysimpson Doesnt seem like you have a heart. I had a craniotomy and thanks to my wife who never left my side. Staying at the icu was bearable. The staff didnt give me a bath at all but my wife did.

If you have a loved one in the hospital let them rest - don’t stay more then ten or twenty minutes - I was in the ICU for five days - trust me you’re keeping them up and you’re not helping the staff do their job

If conventional oncology really wanted to give us our best fighting chance against cancer, wouldn't they be trying to help out the cells whose job it is to kill cancer cells? "The only cell that kills cancer... we don't pay any attention to that."

This Monday marks two weeks since we submitted Braelyn’s application for the Anktiva GBM clinical trial. We are anxiously awaiting word on whether she is accepted. If she is denied, we will immediately pursue single patient access. Time is critical. @DrPatrick #Anktiva #ImmunityBio #GBM

Dr. Simon Khagi, maybe the most respected oncology professional in the world, will be announcing a recommendation for $IBRX Anktiva to be used as a treatment nationwide, sparking new trials and off-label prescriptions. Shorts going into the weekend will be very upset Monday.

UPDATE: 1/29/2026 I want to thank everyone who has shared Leanne's story, commented on the post, and reached out to me. I really can't thank you enough. Leanne is finally home after being in the hospital since Monday afternoon. Her blood work continues to be an issue. The doctor's performed a bone marrow biopsy and we have yet to see the results. At least they are looking to ensure that there isn't something else going on. It still makes me extremely nervous and panicked. She was given several shots of Granix which is supposed to help with production of white blood cells. I will say the count did go up a little which is encouraging. Definitely need ANKTIVA Bioshield as Leanne's immune system has been completely destroyed by radiation and chemo. Standard of care is a complete joke. All of the billions of dollars that have been spent on "curing" cancer have just gone into more research on how to maintain the status quo. They aren't trying to "cure" anything. They are trying to slow it down Cytostatic is bullshit! Stop dragging your feet @MartyMakary @US_FDA @RobertKennedyJr Stop getting on X and saying you are going to do something. @tteuscher I got my second shot of anktiva today. And got reminded of how sucky temozolomide is. My ANC today is 0.94 after 2 months of normal ANCs. So random. Oncologist is not worried thoughz thinks its just lingering effects of temozolomide
