i genuinely hate, hate, hate how americanized and westernized the internet is, that when someone from a different geocultural background vents/complaints about something in their life related to their family, everyone's first suggestion is "cut off your family, youre an adult"

It's so sad because these same people don't understand the importance of a family. I find it scary even, that they speak of cutting them off so lightly. That's a very loud indication for how desensitized this place has made most of us.
