@JKuccii They updated it so free kits spawn in late now, so you are more incentivized to kit up because then you're less likely to get late spawns. So I'm not sure I believe you.

Aside from them not dropping any content worth anything for months, i hopped on last night for the first time in 2.5 months and pvp’d for about 2 hours. Last raid of the night i brought an anvil bobcat in, killed about 12 people and every one of them had free kits. Do you know how fast that made me get off and not wanna play for another few months? Why even bring a kit? The fact it’s even possible for me to risk that loadout and I’m being put in the same game with a bunch of people who have nothing to lose, just for me to possibly die by arc or some stupid shit?? Just such a stupid system lmao

Also they have a new map coming out in 2 weeks along with a new map condition, a new large arc, a new expedition & that is in addition to the new arc they've already added & the 2 new guns. 400k was never sustainable.

@RyGilliam People can be tired of it, but I believe a live game that was going steady suddenly losing 80% of its players in like three months is a story worth exploring. Similarly, a single player game like Crimson Desert retaining so many players after a month is also a story. Both ways

This is not a dig at Paul, whose job it will always be to write what people are interested in reading ... But how are people not tired of this discourse? Of this kind of news? Clearly people read these posts, I'm not disputing that. But, like, why? People loved the game.

@Kallhem29 @muaxh03 You may be right, but I don't find it likely unless 1 of 2 things happen. 1) the PvE player count drastically reduces itself because of lack of content or 2) the Devs remove ABMM. With that being said at the end of the day it is an extraction shooter and was advertised as such.

@justhere4fun87 @muaxh03 This method won’t work forever. Because when the player base becomes too small, friendly lobbies will become rarer. Moreover, it creates an imbalance between players in how they obtain equipment or progress within the same server.

Look, every game loses some players once the hype fades. ARC Raiders is still a great game, but I’d like to know what percentage of players left because of the lack of a PvE mode. I predicted this at launch, and people kept arguing with me about it.

ARC Raiders has lost almost 80% of its players this year on Steam It had a peak 2026 concurrent player count of 466,372 in early January
