Michael Jordan was a @ChiPubSchools parent. His daughter and son graduated from Whitney Young HS, the gem of the Westside of Chicago. I never hear CPS parents complaining. It’s only the people who use our challenges to have something to say. CPS has the TOP schools in the state. Check the numbers.

The reason there's all this drama about Bam Adebayo's 83-point game - unethical basketball will never be appreciated by the general fanbase. Many stars have done significant damage within 3Qs and sat Q4 because it was a blowout. Kobe 60+ in 3Q. Klay sat with 50 in 3+, and he sat most of Q4 after scoring 37 points in a Q. Curry had countless games where he sat Q4s because it was a blowout. Devin Booker is the only one in recent memory where he played all through a blowout loss to score 70. Bam's 62 through Q3, now that is impressive. Once the lead got to 27 points in Q4 with 7 minutes to go, that's when he should have bowed out. Instead, he stayed in to score 13 more points. Worst of all, the Heat intentionally fouled the Wizards to slow down a blowout game. That's when they turned it into a joke. 70 points is a lot more impressive than an artificial 83. It's actually incredible he scored 70, who would have thought? That still would have etched him in stone for an all-time scoring night in the modern era. With the clown stuff by Spo, though, they ended up putting a dumb smear on an amazing performance. Stupid.

@CoachKurzawski It depends. I coached 3 sport athletes. Sports are finite. Once high school is over the opportunity is over. 1% of kids make it. Those that do need to work. Those that will need to understand and have those in their corner to help them do what's best.

Jumping straight into AAU after a long high school season is both unsafe & irresponsible. Programs that truly care about the mental and physical health of their players understand this. Rest & recovery are essential for real growth. Basketball should challenge athletes - but it shouldn’t be a nonstop, year-round marathon.

@JalinTroutman35 Played all different defenses in middle school. Great coaches teach it all. You do not have to throw skip passes to beat a zone it helps. If you cant matchup against a team its just dumb to play man. You have to do what's best for your team Kids want to win too A lot dont make it

You can win every game coaching 5th graders by playing a 2-3 zone because kids can’t throw skip passes. Doesn’t mean you’re good at coaching or developing anything, just means you can exploit the system. Seems like Chinese Taipei’s little league system is doing something like that because it’s actually hilarious how bad they are at baseball as adults.
