Hate that excuse for a player getting ejected for being dumb and pushing it after a first tech. “Officials need to understand the magnitude of the game.” Where’s the line for that? At one point do players need to know it? Doesn’t the first tech shift responsibility to the player?

@bartblair @lukedsimmons With Bart here. Building a can be idols and often change the mission of a church. Am I sometimes tired of 14 years of mobile church? Sure. Reality is most of our congregation values the financial stewardship and flexibility and as a result steps up to be hosts in their own homes.

@lukedsimmons A building can be a great tool, but can also be a hefty expense. I struggle trading the $$ for the financial flexibility with lower overhead. So, if it's free to me, sure. Otherwise, gotta count the cost. But to say a building is "necessary" for effective ministry is untrue.
