@luofemall Shes talking about is dislike that young Asian woman have towards being tanned. That's a real issue that many young girls there have to deal with. They should be encouraged to love their skin tone the way it is- not have to lighten in any way because they are naturally beautiful!

The neighborhood I grew up in was mostly Italian/Irish and very middle class when I was a kid. Nowadays it’s almost exclusively Chinese/Korean and very very wealthy. My parents r being gentrified out of the neighborhood by rich Asian people. What narrative does this fit
