@thejobchick This is why you don’t owe any company a 2 week notice. If you’re about to quit any job use all of your PTO and 1-2 days returning you put in your resignation letter with an effective end date, better to time it with the payroll cycle

Oracle Layoffs - The EMAIL.
The job cuts will affect somewhere around 20,000 and 30,000 - which is about roughly 18% of their global workforce.
This has been clearly evident since early-mid Feb as I have been alerting.

ORACLE Rumblings: Oracle is rolling out mandatory weekly 1-on-1s across dev teams. Mid-tier managers are getting sudden 15-minute “catch up” invites. Employee Relations and performance language is ramping. "What Great Looks Like" - (yes, I've seen the chart.) EVP message: You must all learn AI "on your own time" - or be left behind. "We are an AI company." Sounds to me that they are standardizing performance reviews, and strengthening Employee Relations oversight... Oh my.

@PelziDragon This is what correct handling looks like. One finger on each side of the neck to prevent him from turning and biting. Also would NEVER hold an unrestrained venomous animal with its head towards the camera like that. Whoever has that animal is taking way too many risks.
