on the flip side, my favorite published game of theirs is Sayonara Wild Hearts, which imo is a much better coming of age story than mixtape, with original music and much more cohesive design that synergizes gameplay, visuals and audio. play it if you haven't

Probably the worst game Annapurna has published is Twelve Minutes. Horrible stuff, genuinely insane how it managed to waste one of the most home-run game concepts ever lol

Mixtape is a truly special game, like a playable High Fidelity or maybe a 90s John Hughes movie. Still thinking about it days later. Also you can blow things up by flipping them off -Go play it! (Itโs on Game Pass, too)

My impression of Mixtape thus far:
As an inner city black kid, I cannot relate to Mixtape AT ALL, however, the cultural and nostalgic 90โs references in this game are what make it dope along with the art style and story, itโs like playing a โbrat packโ movieโฆ9 out of 10 game
