Jumping from my Model Y into a gas car feels like driving a dinosaur. It can’t drive itself, you have to manually push the brake pedal at every stop, it’s over-the-air software updates are limited, the acceleration feels slow by comparison, and you have to push a button to start the car. In Tesla’s words: Some buttons starts cars. Others start the future.

@DevinOlsenn @SawyerMerritt This. There is no second place. Nothing even close when it comes to FSD and software.

@SawyerMerritt Well said - I think a lot of Tesla owners are desensitized to how incredible these cars are. We complain about minor nuanced issues with FSD - in a world where second place basically doesn’t exist. Can’t wait to see how much better things get next year.

@SawyerMerritt It’s really incredible how bad an ICE car feels- had to rent one for a biz trip and I felt like I was back in time. When I am riding around in my robot car, I often notice others doing the labor of driving and I understand what it feels like to have a private chauffeur.
