Have you ever made any funny travel mistakes? I once landed at Brussels Charleroi when I was expecting to land at Brussels Zaventem - luckily not a major problem and it serves me right for booking and travelling on autopilot!

@DadsThatTravel Expect things to go wrong, so focus on the things you can control (I.e. how you respond). Buses will be late, accommodation wonโ€™t be as pictured, food poisoning is bad luck etcโ€ฆ so be prepared, stay level headed and try not to get down

@touchtheworld6 Good luck! -Plan posts in advance so you know what links with other content + so you can avoid overlap -Think of the reader. What does your post answer? (this is where you link with KW research) -Know that your first few posts will suck and be ready to learn from mistakes

I'm starting to write & make progress with officially starting the travel blog. Some questions: 1) Do i write as much as i can without focus on keysearch/SEO to get content? 2) What is the best place to start given Googles update? 3) Any recent starter guides/tips for newbie?

@touchtheworld6 1) Quality is better than quantity 3) Choose a clearly defined niche and focus on multiple posts related to a single topic before moving onto the next one My biggest mistakes were going far too general and doing one post per country for the first 4 months before I knew better
