@njames_digital The no Chinese visa requirement is also a plus. I’d love to start in Moscow, take the train to Beijing via Mongolia and then into North Korea.
English

@touchtheworld6 Air China resuming direct flights to Pyongyang from Beijing too at the end of this month. Easier for a lot of British travellers with no Chinese visa requirement now too! 🤞 soon
English

@pagrev I’ll be jumping on the next time it fully opens for sure.
Just seems fascinating to me.
English

@traveltakeaway Given some of the ones I’ve been on over the years it should be a step up.
English

@touchtheworld6 I'm old enough to remember when it was " The world's fabourite airline " Adam 🤔
English

@seymour_dan 😂 I remember it being pretty decent when I last flew in 2021.
That was also the last time I was in Heathrow.
English

@NationCymru Well, it’s not the most beautiful place on earth, it is a place on earth though.
English

Cardiff Airport has announced a new sunshine destination to one of the most beautiful places on earth.

@FUDdaily I could cook/eat 3 meals a day with fruit/snacks for 3 weeks on that
English

@flymepegasus Are your new Istanbul to Dushanbe flights sold out or not on sale yet?
English

@everycountry197 I’m actually monitoring that as my ideal entry. Hopefully 2027 🤞
English

@everycountry197 @geoflags8 @JakeNomada Loved Paraty. For me as it was historic it was my preference.
I’m not a beach person, so can’t comment on this.
Be interested to know a comparison.
English

@geoflags8 @JakeNomada How does it compare to Paraty?

Posted this almost 2 years ago, and had the pleasure of visiting Damascus and Beirut in December 2025.

Some of the cities high on my list that I want to visit: - Damascus, Syria 🇸🇾 - Beirut, Lebanon 🇱🇧 - Shiraz, Iran 🇮🇷 - Pyongyang, North Korea 🇰🇵 - Alexandria, Egypt 🇪🇬

@everycountry197 Is this only group travel or independent too?

🚨 Breaking 🚨
Afghanistan now has an evisa, which saves a lot of hassle going through embassies
I haven’t tested thoroughly, but couldn’t get a verification code to go through the process. So there appear to be flaws
Hearing it starts from $130

@HLTCO I watched Swansea City for the best part of 20 years, and most other football, was a massive part of my teens, twenties and early thirties.
It’s been about 3/4 years since I’ve watched an entire game of football.
Got bored, lost interest and wanted to do other things.
English

I don’t know if it’s just the echo-chamber of my Twitter algorithm but it really does feel, this season in particular, as though a hell of a lot of people are falling out of love with the Premier League. Crucially not with football as a whole but with the Prem particularly.
Green Scouser@Green_Scouser
Does any neutral fan enjoy watching games of football anymore when their team isn't involved? I think the PL is at its lowest ever level in terms of entertainment. The nonsense during det pieces, poor standard of refereeing and too much play acting has made it unwatchable

I’ll always overland when I’m there. Even Mauritania via Morocco to London is coming in at £350 one way.
Getting to Laayoune is about £150 one way which is okay.
Fewer airlines in country too. Mauritania only really goes to Gran Canaria or Morocco.
Half tempted to cross back in by land to Dakhla and get a flight home via Spain as it’s far cheaper.
English

@touchtheworld6 Yes, Africa after Asia or LATAM is shockingly expensive.
It is often cheaper to fly from Europe than intra Africa flight.
Cheaper flights are to Morroco, Dakar, Lome, Lagos, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Addis Abeba, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Egypt, Zanzibar and that travel overland.
English

@FormerlyWTC Yes, definitely. Found decent priced flights between Tanzania/Kenya for another trip.
I’ve always known they were high, I’ve just not looked at them since 2022 when I was last in West Africa.
English

@touchtheworld6 Africa is notorious for high airfares particularly on intra Africa routes. LCC’s aren’t a thing in sub Saharan Africa.
