Be honest, has your sentiment toward TAG changed over the past few months? Talking with both long-time collectors and newer people in the hobby, I feel like their grading model is really starting to make sense. The hardcore collectors see TAG slabs as “never-for-sale” piece with high objective grading, and liquidity alone isn’t a big factor for them. And the newer crowd — when they actually compare PSA’s pros and cons to TAG’s — seem to prefer TAG’s overall approach and business model: AI vs Human Grading, No Upcharges, Fast Turn Around, Transparent Handling of Issues. There’s obviously still a strong segment of die-hard PSA supporters because of the brand’s dominance and established market trust. But personally, it does feel like the overall conversation in regards to TAG has shifted compared to six months ago, when TAG was just starting to gain traction mainly by social media.
