it's funny because this task sounds impossible but then when you think about it for like 2 seconds it would actually be pretty easy and won't take more than a few weeks

@sylidar Boons need to be 50/50 rate, if the whole point is to promote pantheon and cut down on tokens that everyone hates, the current rate for boons is way too low. From my cases, I'd estimate it at ~12.5% of the token slot. Pulling a greater boon is like trying to pull a divine relic

Q: how does weebs plan to release more pantheon in the future? currently we're planning every set moving forward to have 10-15 new boons that can be found in the token slot. in addition, every expansion set will be accompanied with 1 or 2 new pantheon precons. future capstone sets will likely be accompanied with a set of 4 precons instead.

@Satashi26 Feels like somewhere along the way geekjack became the way more expensive option, more than if i were to ship to a proxy and have them send it via ems. The added tariff fees and shipping fiasco I don't blame on GJ, but would go a long eay if they communicated or honored old price

@AAAAAAriko Don't worry! Art is one of those skills that don't require formal schooling but rather rely more on patience and practice. Going to art school doesn't automatically make someone an artist or more qualified, if anything in my experience it usually feeds egos....

@Limealicious Customs probably thought it was 5 boxes or 5 pallets (!) Of plushies vs 5 ea. It sometimes happens when order from indie shops or off sites like etsy, especially for international shipments. If possible you can reach out to customs and clarify that it is 5 singular plushies

I started cosplay around 2007–2008. Back then I was escaping my school life. I was basically the only one who liked anime and manga. I changed schools four times in three years because of constant bullying. There was no social media: people bullied you physically. My parents were embarrassed of my cosplay. At 13, I was taking trains alone for hours just to have two days of happiness at conventions. Sleeping in cars. Sleeping next to people I didn’t even know. Just because we shared the same passion. Now I’m a professional cosplayer in Japan. I worked for a lot stuff until Covid. The same people who once questioned me now ask why I don’t make more money, why my numbers aren’t higher. Meanwhile others say, “She’s famous now, she’s so cool.” Life is strange like that.
