Liverpool were ripped apart by PSG tonight. Easy to blame Slot. Harder to accept that Liverpool are now a team in transition. I think Slot deserves time to oversee that transition. Others don't. dailymail.co.uk/sport/football…
I've been quite lenient on Florian Wirtz this season as I am certain he will live up to his price tag in the near future. But so many of these games I am left thinking: what does he do? So ineffective and when you cost £100m, you want way, way more.
@layxsnv Nah. I feel like I’ve had a massive head start. I’m halfway through my life and have a lot of financial freedom due to starting early. Not a big fan of this current government and what they’re doing with my taxes. Feeling like I want to opt out if it.
@l4pablo I could see a consortium from either the middle east or America coming in for us
FSG has given up on the multi club and are in the middle of selling the Penguins
🚨Second home owners in Scotland hit with whopping 500% council tax premiums
Council tax bills could reach up to £27,863 this year after local authorities were handed powers to raise bills by UNCAPPED amounts.
This marks by far the highest second homes tax in Britain.
This is totally unfair and every councillor who supports this should be ashamed of themselves.
Envy and jealousy everywhere in Britain.
@KetamineMr@Dougmcg1@john_ford77 People have never had so much money. Wake up!!! All this poverty nonsense talk. You do understand this government class couples who earn under 30k as living in poverty, They Dunno the meaning of the word?!!
@howdoidelemya@Dougmcg1@john_ford77 Druggies and alcoholics have ALWAYS stolen, in fact probably more in the past as its rare you see them coming into a pub or walking up to you tryna sell you stuff.
Now more people are stealing because, well, they need to eat and paying well over the odds is already theft.
When I was a kid, working in bars, I made £3.50 an hour. Pints were 65p. I could work for an hour to afford five drinks. These days, the kids are earning what, a tenner an hour? How much is a drink in a pub now? No wonder they stay at home.
@Red_Scouser1892 I hope so mate. The club needs a fresh start, with new owners. But theonly people who can afford Liverpool will be Elon musk or the Saudi royal family.
@SeddSezz I don't believe anyone should own a second home in the UK suitable for ordinary working individuals, couples, families unless it is within an area officially deemed 'deprived'. By all means buy 4/5/6+ bedroom properties as second homes, third homes, tenth homes anywhere.
@SeddSezz Council tax has been weaponised. The connection between the tax and services is broken. In Edinburgh, my neighbour who had held onto the flat she shared with her deceased husband - it's unoccupied - is forced to sell following a demand for £9,500 council tax.
@madworld229@SeddSezz Where I live, a 2 bed ex council mid terrace is £350,000. The more houses that are on the market, prices come down across the country.
@StochasticQ23@Tristan_T_I Yes but he is in charge of the running of the club. Before that it was Gordon’s job and the only way they could entice him back was to offer him the multi club role.
@howdoidelemya@Tristan_T_I Edward's didnt come back to do the same job as before, he said it himself it was to be over lfc and a 2nd club.
The 2nd club was key to him coming back, if theres no 2nd team on FSGs books hes not interested in stay, he will get plenty offers elsewhere
