POLL: ICE has been abused by the Fake News Media at levels never seen before. They are Great Patriots who work hard, and do a fantastic job in a very hostile environment. Much of this hostility is caused by the Dumocrats and the Fake News. The concept I have had for quite some time — A strong feeling that the name of these Patriots, “ICE,” should be changed to, “NICE,” in that it will totally discombobulate Crooked, Dishonest, and Unpatriotic Reporters and Journalists. For them to say, “We went to a NICE Facility today,” as opposed to “ICE” or, “NICE Agents have deported a Violent Drug Dealer,” they won’t be able to handle it, they will go totally crazy! All it means is adding an “N” (“National”) to “ICE (“Immigration and Customs Enforcement”) — A much more prestigious name. Everyone loves it, but I have been told by the legendary Tom Homan that the Agents do not love it as much as the other population. Who thinks that we should add an “N” to change the name of “ICE” to “NICE?”
Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT

@tridence @Suzierizzo1 Where does it say we are Christian nation?
English

@Suzierizzo1 She's right, though. We are a republic founded on Christianity.
English

@AdamKinzinger This will end up being a series of Trump hotels with said billions finding their way into Trump -aligned construction partners with kickbacks aplenty. That’s not a hard prediction at this point.
English

@IronHorsey2000 @FleadomReigns @GloriaNelson @TimothyDSnyder Seems that was both a tactical and strategic failure which is par for the course with this administration.
English

@FleadomReigns @GloriaNelson @TimothyDSnyder It didn’t work as agreements fell through. It was noted publicly with frustration.
English

This is a stunning strategic defeat and Trump is without parallel as a strategic loser.

@Gimi_4u @TimothyDSnyder FYI, Trump is the iconic member of the “Epstein Class”.
English

@TimothyDSnyder It’s a defeat but for the neocons and epstin class. Trump exposed it and needs to be recognised for coming out of their strategy and bringing commodities back to the citizens

@VictorFaculty32 @Acyn Oh please. Why does Obama live rent free in your head 24/7/365? It really is incredible.
English

@elerianm Word salad answers and not submitting a dot is a pussy move. Take a stand, dude. No one expects a perfect outcome, but tell us where you stand. He didn’t do that.

The new Federal Reserve Chair, Kevin Warsh, adopted a highly welcome change during his opening remarks at the press conference following today's policy statement.
Underpinning his emphasis on accountability, his delivery was noticeably more open, engaging, concise, and honest.
In addition to confirming that he did not submit "dots" given his well-founded (and correct) discomfort with the Summary of Economic Projections (SEP), he announced the creation of five task forces to take a fresh look at areas I have long argued are in deep need of reform:
Communication
Balance sheet management
Data sources and uses
Productivity and jobs in a transforming economy
The inflation framework
Bottom line: A much-needed, reform-oriented breath of fresh air.

English

@Claudia_Sahm Inflation jumped solely due to the Iran war and sudden supply bottlenecks as a direct consequence. Warsh needs to explain how higher policy rates cure that problem.

@UnclePatsFarm @Acyn I think that should be babies, not baby’s, but education and knowledge aren’t your party’s strong suit.

Hannity: Is there any line that this guy can cross before they say enough?
Kellyanne: He crossed the lines a long time ago, but they keep moving that line. The line of morality, decency, truth. The simple answer as to why they stick with him, it's called control and power. And power for power's sake is the definition of corruption.
English

@BulwarkOnline I kind of wish I had the ability to so confidently display my ignorance and stupidity on the global stage, then again, I’m not a psychopathic narcissist.

@JodyD_Soonerz @CalltoActivism He’s total shit and anyone who still supports him is total shit too. Congrats, shithead!
English

@mlgraham59 @CalltoActivism Well, the truth is the truth 🤡
Up well past midnight, probably didn’t even sleep until he got on AF1 and a little sleep and jet lag.
I bet you’d look like 💩 and not even close to 80.

@LeahRay44 That’s most likely a Boeing 737 around row 13. It’s blocked because it’s where the cooling lines come from the engine to the fuselage to provide ac to the cabin. I’ve had that same issue on a couple flights. Try using aerolopa website. They give you great details of your seat.
English

What do Americans think of their domestic air travel? 🇺🇸
I’ve been given a seat that doesn’t even have a window but still paid the same price as everyone else. I was looking forward to seeing some of the views while landing.
The plane was also around an hour delayed taking off and they wouldn’t let you get up and stretch your legs. Have I had a bad experience or is this normal?

@japan_nobunaga I just shopped at Costco on Kauai where everything is insanely expensive being an isolated island and all that, yet the roasted chicken remains $4.99! I’ve been a Costco customer for years but I was still surprised the price was identical to other locations.
English

In America, a warehouse store. A fully roasted chicken costs five dollars, the raw chicken beside it costs seven, and I stood between them like a man between two truths.
Golden. Hot. Seasoned. Spinning in glory under the lights, in a line of its brothers. Four dollars and ninety-nine cents.
I checked the raw birds. Seven dollars. Pale. Cold. You must do everything yourself.
This is not commerce. Commerce does not move backward. Somewhere in this building, mathematics lies defeated.
I asked the man at the counter. "How is the cooked bird cheaper than the raw bird?"
"Been five bucks forever. They keep it that way."
"But the store loses."
"Yep. On purpose."
On purpose. I held my receipt with both hands.
In my land, a lord who lowered the price of rice in a hard winter was remembered for generations. They built him a small shrine. This store does it every day, with chicken, and tells no one.
A woman behind me grew tired of my reverence. "It's just a chicken, sir."
It is not just a chicken. It is a wound the merchant takes on purpose, so that anyone, on any day, with five dollars, eats like a lord. The bird is the message. The price is the vow.
I will confess: I bought two. I did not need two. The second was not hunger. It was gratitude, and it was delicious.
Some prices are not prices. They are promises.
I return every week now. I take one bird. I bow toward the deli, briefly, so as not to alarm the staff. They have begun nodding back.
The vow holds. The bird turns. Five dollars.
Long may it spin.

@TheProv31Mama @LeahRay44 Exactly! Some have served their country thru multiple war deployments vs. those that had daddy get a doctor to sign off on bogus bone spurs to avoid said deployments.

Some lovely American man dmed me and offered to drive me around for the rest of my time here
I swear you don’t experience this sort of hospitality anywhere else in the world. He’s so friendly and is giving me loads of advice of things to do and see while I’m here for the World Cup. Thank you USA 🇺🇸

Leah Ray@LeahRay44
I have just crashed my car in America 🇺🇸 First time driving in the USA and this man opened his door on me Stay safe if you’re out here for the World Cup who knows what could happen, luckily I’m able to tweet about this with no injuries.
English

@TNew5280 @LeahRay44 Don’t worry, November is coming soon, enjoy the fascist regime while you still can.
English

@mlgraham59 @LeahRay44 We’re not all leftist douchebags, it’s just they get all the attention right now, unfortunately
English

@traveling_tex @LeahRay44 The rental car company’s contract is with the renter, not the at-fault driver. They will seek recovery from the renter of repair costs, plus lost revenue for whatever period the car is out of service for repairs. It can be a pain without insurance, hopefully she’s covered.
English

@mlgraham59 @LeahRay44 If it’s his fault, his insurance will cover it. I don’t think he can rent a car without insurance anyway.
