@GreeneLouiseAus Calling for the killing of Australians by Australians on Australian soil is what Grace Tame publicly called for. Fact! It can’t be denied, can’t be deleted and can’t be excused!

I am absolutely fed up with the relentless targeting of Grace Tame. Let's be clear. There is a difference between fair criticism and a public pile-on. What we keep seeing directed at Grace is not constructive debate. It is constant scrutiny, personal attacks, outrage cycles and a level of judgment that seems reserved for women who dare to speak too loudly, too honestly or too unapologetically. Grace Tame survived child sexual abuse. She helped change laws. She gave a voice to countless survivors. She has spent years doing work that most people would never have the courage to do. Yet the attacks never seem to stop. A few weeks ago it was the Prime Minister taking aim at her. Now it's Charlie Pickering. Before that, countless commentators, columnists and social media critics. Different names, same pattern. And frankly, it disgusts me. No, women in public life should not be immune from criticism. Nobody is. But there is a world of difference between criticism and the kind of sustained public hounding that seeks to diminish, discredit and exhaust someone. As someone who has experienced public judgment and media attacks, I know how destructive these campaigns can be. They reduce human beings to caricatures. They erase context. They encourage outrage while ignoring the very real emotional toll on the person at the centre of it. What troubles me most is that women who survive violence are so often expected to be perfect. The moment they become angry, outspoken, political, imperfect or inconvenient, they are treated as fair game. Grace Tame has contributed more to the conversation about sexual abuse and survivor advocacy in this country than most of her critics ever will. Maybe it's time some of the men lining up to take shots at her stopped and asked themselves a simple question: Why are they spending so much energy attacking a survivor instead of supporting the change she helped create? Enough. #gracetame #charliepickering

Albanese recommended his close mate Samantha Mostyn as GG. She got the job. That same GG appoints the Remuneration Tribunal members who set the pay and perks for politicians and senior bureaucrats - including the government that put her there. It's a neat little loop. On paper it's all "independent" and "merit-based." In practice it's a sophisticated theft operation.

@NChvastek So funny…every single Australian middle class worker is worse off since the 2022 election by many thousands of dollars. Is anyone, other than CFMEU members doing better under Labor?

@michaelJwyllie @sallymcmanus Heard MacManus yesterday telling the world that businesses have the option of raising their prices to cover the increased wage costs! Confirmed once and for all how incompetent Labor and unions are at understanding inflation. Or they simply don’t want to know!🤡🤡🤡

Australia and the Pacific are stronger when we work together. Today I met with Prime Minister Wale of Solomon Islands and we agreed to start negotiations on a new comprehensive treaty between our nations. When there are challenges in our region and around the world, we'll tackle them together. Because a more secure Pacific means a more secure Australia. And that's what this treaty will deliver. 🇦🇺🇸🇧

Labor’s tax budget is a fiasco. And it is so typical of how they do everything. Make the announcement, try to work out how to make it work and when it blows up blame everyone accept themselves. Housing Minister Clare O’Neil has fumbled a key detail of Labor’s contentious negative gearing clampdown, struggling to explain whether a granny flat will qualify for the tax concession under the overhaul. The Coalition pushed O’Neil in QT on whether building a second dwelling on an existing title would mean that title was now considered a new build, and able to be negatively geared. O’Neil responded: “A new dwelling is one that genuinely adds new to housing supply.” Angus Taylor seized on the answer, declaring after question time: “Labor cannot answer basic questions about its own toxic taxes. The Housing Minister was asked a simple question in the parliament about what counts as a new build. She dodged it, because the government does not understand the real-world damage its taxes will do to housing supply, renters and first home buyers.” theaustralian.com.au/nation/politic… via @australian

@MisinfoFact Hilarious rubbish by Sally MacManus…..she claimed businesses have the option of raising their prices to cover the wage increase! Labor and unions have no idea how to tackle inflation cause they don’t wish to! The more reliant upon government people are, the better Labor likes it

Sally McManus welcomes the Fair Work Commission’s decision to increase the minimum wage by 4.75%, lifting it to $26.44 per hour f. She said modest pay rises for essential workers help families keep up with the cost of living while having little impact on inflation. #auspol

Minimum wage workers are now earning $12,000 more a year since Labor came to Government. Every year the Fair Work Commission reviews the minimum wage. Our Government has backed a pay increase for minimum wage workers every single year - five years in a row.

Remember the European Hospital in Khan Younis last May? Israel struck a targeted site there, and the world lost its mind. Palestinians denied any tunnel existed underneath. The UN and European governments rushed to condemn Israel for attacking a “hospital.” Outrage, headlines, accusations of war crimes… the usual script. Then June came. The IDF took international media into the very same location and showed them the tunnel… a full Hamas command center, right under the emergency room. Weapons, rooms, infrastructure. And yes, that’s where they found and confirmed the body of Mohammed Sinwar, Hamas’s top military commander and brother of Yahya Sinwar. The strike that killed one of the architects of October 7 was surgically precise, and entirely justified. Under the Geneva Conventions of 1949, hospitals and other medical facilities lose their protected status when they are used for military purposes, such as command centers, weapon storage, or troop movements. By deliberately turning the European Hospital into a Hamas base, the terrorists themselves stripped it of any legal protection. Not a single apology from the UN or the European governments that rushed to condemn Israel. Not one admission they were wrong. They simply moved on to the next round of accusations. This is the pattern. Hamas hides its terror infrastructure under civilian sites, uses hospitals as shields, and the international community reliably attacks the defender for responding, only to be proven wrong again and again and again when the evidence emerges. How many times does this have to happen before the world stops falling for it?

@RoadknightThe But the government calmly told us that the cost of the plaques was covered within the Big Build budget . So,obviously, the government expects us taxpayers to believe that the budget was set to expect the plaques to be made twice! Very consistent with Victorian Labor methodology!

This sums up the symptoms of the Allan Government's sickness. Ask a reasonable person how much to replace a plaque and they'd say maybe hundreds or a couple of thousand dollars, not $70,000. But then it's not been through several sub-contractors, each with their own profit margin. Remember Julia Gillard's 'Build the Education Revolution' COLAs (Covered Outdoor Learning Areas we used to call 'shelter sheds')? They were $50,000 Sheds'R'Us, concrete slabs and bench seats that, when passed through numerous sub-contractors, ended up costing the tax-payer $950,000.
