That's the problem people miss: they think jail equals rehab. It's not. Inmates are thrown in with other criminals, treated like animals, and exit with the same mindset. It's a revolving door. We need rehab in prison, or they'll never join civilized society. Throw them in an uncivilized environment for years and expect change? I feel bad for victims, but we must address root issues or we'll continue to have victims. God bless his father. He will forever beat himself up, thinking he wasnโt there for his child. When the truth is, until we learn how to rehabilitate criminals or lock them away from society, nothing will change.
