@An_Angry_Albino I know about the whole Tiffany name thing, it's very cool to see where different words come from. the point of my tweet was mostly that these names are really really modern for me, ateast so it was weird to see them in such a setting

@noctinfocus That one id need to do some reading to figure out, but I could see it. Most of our common modern names come from that era. Hell cgp grey has two videos on medieval Tiffany's

@noctinfocus Joshua is derived from Yeshua, which can be found as early as the Book of Exodus. (Fun fact ‘Jesus’ shares the same etymology) It’s the Tiffany problem all over again.

@Dreamsinthenoct outlines are the bane of my existence. I made 1 outline in my life. did it help? yes. but did I also lose 10 yrs off my life because I suffered through making it? also yes.

um. I'm gonna be truthful, I see a lot of people saying that they use outlines for their long fics. I can't be bothered to make one. I bullshit my way through my long fics with a lot of brainpower and some rereading

@whoabihhtz the best thing is to just post your stuff and return to it when the phase ends. it will do you absolutely no good if you keep overanalyzing micro things. you're your harshest critic rn believe me when I say that there's gonna be someone out there who will love what you wrote

I've hit that point in my fanfic writing phase where I start hyper-analyzing the quality of my work and decide that none of it is worth posting because my writing style is repetitive and imperfect and extremely amateurish. we'll see if i manage to post more stuff
