@jellienaut I still have issues with how unregretful/bratty he appeared in s2- which is in contrast to his behavior in the books (in those same moments). They wanted them to be on the *path* of reconciliation between s2 and s3, but I still remain of the opinion that it did not feel earned.

iwtvl was never a feminist show and misogyny- especially misogynoir- in the writing has been a consistent problem since s1, but the sexual objectification of women and pandering to the cishet male gaze is reaching new levels this season and it's been really disappointing to see

i think what saddens me the most about the writing is this. for the past two seasons we are required to care about logics, about the nuances and degree of truth, about the heaviness of the themes. but now it's all out of the windows (including the budget) #tvlspoilers
