I can’t help but feel for all my old classmates who are finishing their college education wether with an undergraduate or masters degree right now
I have 2 friends who graduated from Columbia and Oxford, both are struggling to find a job and they didn’t pursue a bs degree
I’ll tell you what I told them
“If you can’t find a job then make yourself one”
But it’s easy to say when in reality they dedicated their entire existence to get to where they are at this very moment only to realize that what they were told as kids is no longer valid
Literally just saw that “freshers” have a +13% unemployment rate in the US, highest in 38y
I don’t see how it will get better from here, we might genuinely have a situation where an entire generation is sacrificed
Imagine being a sophomore/senior in high school right now, what even is the +EV thing to do if you can’t get into an elite university?
I feel for them most it must be absolutely terrifying

Yesterday I posted about HIP4 being the first HIP to use HyperEVM.
Full research → liquidterminal.xyz/hip4/home
HIP4 has no official documentation. No verified source. No ABI. So we reverse-engineered the contract from bytecode and calldata on testnet.
What we mapped:
→ Full reconstructed ABI (selectors, signatures, access control)
→ Every event (DepositReceived, Claimed, ContestCreated, ContestFinalized, MerkleRootPublished)
→ All revert strings mined from bytecode
→ Storage layout (owner, mappings, initialization flags)
→ Complete contest lifecycle: createContest
→ deposit
→ publishMerkleRoot
→ claim
→ sweepUnclaimed
→ Bridge architecture L1↔EVM (asset index formula, outcome token mapping)
→ Real decoded testnet transactions
→ JS + Python code examples
Some findings:
- Pre-deployed at genesis, not a standard deployment
- renounceOwnership always reverts, admin is permanent by design
- Merkle-based claims, 0.9% platform fee on reward pool
- Three market types: custom, priceBinary, recurring

This is v1, early test from the team, raw design, and some things might be off. Nothing is final.

Friday isn't the volatility event. Monday is.
Quad witch strips out trillions in options today. All that gamma infrastructure, the dealer hedging, the pin mechanics. Gone by 4pm.
Then Powell speaks Saturday. Markets closed. No way to react.
Monday opens with a completely reset gamma landscape, a Fed catalyst nobody could hedge for, and buyback blackout still active. No corporate bid underneath.
$SPY sitting at 656 with the put wall at 650. I think we test that level Monday, maybe break it. The variance risk premium is screaming. Implied vol at 24, realized at 13. People paid up for protection that expires worthless today. The actual risk shows up when they're naked.
Everyone exhaling into the weekend is looking at the wrong day on the calendar.

Hyperliquid / TradeXYZ did this the right way: instead of infringing IP and launching an "ES" ticker half cocked they want and got the relevant licences.
Final boss: get the fees down to the ~$3 per million notional you'd pay to trade the same product on the CME.
