A small ship I love: We made Claude.ai and our desktop apps meaningful faster this week. We moved our architecture from SSR to a static @vite_js & @tan_stack router setup that we can serve straight from workers at the edge. Time to first byte is down 65% at p75, prompts show up 50% sooner, navigation is snappier. We're not done (not even close!) but we care and we'll keep chipping away. Aiming to make Claude a little better every day.

people have been saying this for the entire time I’ve worked on Bun. Bun was never just a JavaScript runtime. It was in fact a bundler before it became a JavaScript runtime. And it’s still evolving.

it has become the de facto standard for cloud storage solutions, and multiple cloud providers support some sort of S3-compatible API to their solutions

@nummanali in all honesty, it was a 'platform' way before. built in hmr / db drivers / serving, etc.. I feel like this was always the plan, it was just started on a different engine and done with performance-wise devs so it turned out faster :).

@nummanali in a way the definition of a runtime is also changing. it's not good to need node, playwright, etc.
what worries me in bun is that due to the acquisition, incentives are misaligned and it will be dropped
i wish @rauchg acquired them instead hehe

@nummanali I welcome the entire platform as long as it stays fast and performant. They are replacing slow software with fast software, and that’s a big point.

There's a magic about Claude Codes teammate mode
The way it displays the UI, the visual feedback - it instills a confidence in the process
I don't use this mode often, only for large scale audit as it's non-destructive
