AAJC’s close cooperation and deep ties with Chinese-American members of Congress (1) The “big closed loop” of close cooperation, pushing the CCP’s agenda and narrative AAJC has long-standing, deep professional partnerships with several well-known Chinese-American lawmakers — including Ted Lieu, Judy Chu, and Grace Meng. AAJC essentially serves as their legal cover, providing them with policy consultation and helping them push legislation. A lawmaker can’t do everything alone. To take the lead on a proposal, they need supporting forces to amplify and push it, or so-called “grassroots” forces calling on the lawmaker to speak on their behalf. Then the lawmaker “hears” that “grassroots voice” and steps forward to say they’re going to act on it. That’s exactly the coordination between these CCP United Front organizations and the Chinese-American lawmakers. For example: don’t investigate COVID’s origins, don’t investigate CCP agents, don’t decouple from the CCP … because all of that is “anti-Asian” or “Asian discrimination.” These lawmakers raise the issue, the so-called grassroots organizations and associations whip up the momentum, and once they’ve built up that momentum they help these lawmakers draft the policy, the legislation, and so on. Before that report came out in September of the same year, AAJC — led by John C. Yang — joined with what they called “22 national Asian Pacific American organizations” in a sign-on letter to Biden, urging him “to work harder to protect Asian Pacific Americans and improve relations with China,” and stating that “the claim that the COVID virus originated in a Chinese lab is a conspiracy theory and is endangering the Asian community.” The signatories specifically included NCAPA — which is the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans, an outgrowth of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association that John C. Americans need to understand: this Weijia Jiang is no ordinary reporter. She controls the dinner’s organization, the coordination of guests, media seating, the flow of events, the association’s external narrative — all the key nodes. She sits at sensitive nodes of national security, and she was sitting next to Trump. Her reporting has been in lockstep with the CCP’s line for years, she’s celebrated by the CCP, and her hostility toward Trump runs this deep. And the shooter was able to check in ahead of time as a hotel guest, bring in multiple weapons, plow through security with both long guns and handguns, and very nearly break inside. And the organizer is now suddenly a hero? This crowd is whitewashing, downplaying, and collectively trying to misdirect the investigation! They’re trying to slap a “hero” narrative onto Weijia Jiang and somehow think that’ll keep her safe, get her off the hook from being investigated. There’s no way that succeeds. But in the same breath, the propaganda piece went on to say, “Trump’s emergency evacuation actually shows that this assassination attempt is the death notice destined for you.” It said it’s precisely because Trump struck Iran, supports Israel, and has been doing all these other things (i.e., the work of taking down the CCP) that he’s now being hated to the bone — and that “if Trump can’t solve the trouble he himself created, no one can guarantee something like this won’t happen again.” So on one hand the CCP is threatening Trump and issuing a “must-kill” order on him, and on the other hand it’s relentlessly hyping up Weijia Jiang — the host of this attempted-assassination event — as a goddess, as a hero. 🧵20\

While threatening Trump and issuing a “must-kill” order, the CCP is also marshaling state media, agents, and wumao to gush over Weijia Jiang as a “hero” After yesterday’s WHCA Dinner attempted-assassination incident, many Americans felt that Weijia Jiang’s behavior was off. But almost immediately, people came out of the woodwork to whitewash her. One of them: George Santos — the disgraced congressman who has long been thick as thieves with Guo Wengui’s “New Federal State of China” (NFSC) and beloved by that crowd. (He was expelled from the House in 2023, and in 2024 he pleaded guilty to identity theft and wire fraud and was sentenced.) Santos, who is gay, is somehow utterly enamored with Weijia Jiang. Before the shooting, he had specifically tweeted gushing praise for how stunning and stylish she was, trying to anoint her as queen of the red carpet. After the shooting, he reposted a tweet from one of Weijia Jiang’s CBS colleagues praising her: “Weijia Jiang is a badass! Hosting the whole dinner all the way through to asking questions at the press conference — you’re amazing!” He then chimed in, awestruck: “Wow, what a badass!” （王志安）Wang Zhi’an’s chief lieutenant “Dr. Caizi” （蔡子博士Chris） also fired off a string of images, hitting from roughly the same angle as Santos and praising Weijia Jiang with a “Good job!” But the dinner had been organized into something on the scale of a global disaster — no normal person can see what was “good” about it. Then there’s another one: “Sydney Daddy”(悉尼奶爸), a fake-anti-CCP stooge for the CCP’s external propaganda machine. The moment Weijia Jiang’s identity got questioned online, “Sydney Daddy” jumped in instantly to sing her praises, saying anyone questioning her was just a “native bumpkin.” But this “overseas bumpkin” rattled off the following: “raised by Fujianese parents,” “CBS reporter,” “her husband’s VC firm has had Sequoia investment in it,” “pressed Trump to his face” — a whole laundry list, all of it the kind of protesting that just gives the game away.
