But by the time i achieve that my 5 years is over and the elections are here. Some of you have said that we should default on odious debt. This debt is only odious to us. Those who lent the money to us knew that they are dealing with government officials of a sovereign country who have constitutional and legal power to bind the state in a contract. The money belongs to countries with military power. Even the worldbank has investors in the form of countries with military power. We cannot provoke them to war. We must pay their momey and recover it from our people who stole it. But how do we recover it if ukabila is a shield of protection.
