I always prefer using the stairs, no matter the floor Iโm going to, rather than using the elevator in Nigeria.
Generally speaking, I think elevator designs in Nigeria are too poor. Thereโs no escape hatch in most elevators Iโve used here. Once youโre stuck, youโre stuck.
And then thereโs the fear of a power outage or mechanical failure that wonโt be attended to promptly.
