I’m so excited that my thesis work from @SDFlies lab is finally out in the world! We address how a stem cell niche forms, and how niche shape impacts its function. Additionally, we show that stem cells aid in shaping the niche that guides their behavior biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

What started out as a mystery cloning project during my rotation turned out to be the 15th Integrator subunit and my first, first author paper! From @GardiniLab and @WojtekGalej labs, we use a combo of AlphaFold2, proteomics, and functional genomics to characterize INTS15

New preprint from my lab is out! We used human and chimp iPSCs, along with functional genomics, to study the evolution of hippocampal neurogenesis, focusing on a specific progenitor population seemingly involved with human-specific increase in hippocampal volume 1/n
