Most creators on CT think they're further ahead than they actually are because nobody around them is being honest with them.
Your fake 'mates' aren't going to tell you your content is shit, they'll just like it and move on.
So you have to be that person for yourself.
Sit down every few months, go through your own stuff, and ask yourself honestly if you'd follow your own account.
The best creators I know are the hardest on themselves.

this is pretty crazy but
usually when a marketing agency reaches out the only thing they care about is impressions or referrals
but then everyone talks about how they want quality users and not just number
everyone talks about how they want real advocates and not just farmers
all while actually paying for “cosmetic metrics”
the problem is this: between crypto businesses and marketing agencies there’s a gap.
and that gap is the ability to track and quantify impact of marketing campaigns who are targeting “the right people”
both parties want the simple/easy way
and as a result we usually get really bad marketing campaigns on CT.
you can’t build advocacy through a paid-per-post relationship where the creator must hit KPIs reflecting a combination of a plethora of factors which your business affects directly
you can’t expect to acquire loyal high quality users by the thousands over one marketing campaign with a small budget
if this is what you promise to your clients you know you're selling them lies

a competent team who operates transparently will always get support despite having to take some unpopular decisions

I was scared to terminate Terminal last week. It felt like yet another drastic decision. But I'm very glad we did it. (hard decisions are often the correct ones.) Yes, farmers and mercenary ecosystem projects are upset. But the amount of support and love from true believers has been overwhelming. Projects that chose Mega for our tech and bespoke GTM support, and who say they'll never leave, are exactly why I believe Mega's future is bright. Ending Terminal allows Mega to enter a new phase, one where projects are further empowered by our Financial OS product suite. It's just better.

Just going to leave this here... $HYPE trading at $15B and makes $52M a month meanwhile $PUMP is trading at $1.5B and makes $34M a month A 10x difference in MC while $HYPE revenue is not even 2x higher. A reminder, during the memecoin mania phase of in late 2024/early 2025 they were making around $4M a day.
