@ADCVanguard_ This is the kind of reasoning GRV relies on to win an election. A mind that mixes falsehood with emptiness can only produce confusion, manipulation, and poor judgment.

Lagosians, Imagine Lagos State were your company, and you had to choose a Managing Director from these two options: GRV: Educated at MIT, Oxford, and Harvard, with over 20 years of professional experience. Hamzat: Educated at Lagos State Polytechnic and Cranfield University, with most of his career spent working under Tinubu. Who would you trust to lead your company?

Dear Theo Abu Agada, Do you still stand by your earlier opinion about Lauretta Onochie, or have you come across new information that would make you reconsider this position? Especially now that she serves as Chairman of the New Media Committee of the ADC, a committee you are part of. Enjoy the rest of your evening my boy
Thεό Abu@TheoAbuAgada

Dear PDP senators, only one thing we ask of you. Block the nomination of that drunkard called Lauretta Onochie as INEC Commissioner. Don’t be unfortunate please.

"Fully built units passenger motor vehicle, four-wheel drive motor vehicle and station wagon now attract a total effective tariff of 40 percent" This is too high. Car tariffs should be a state level matter - Lagos as a congested state should have a high car tax for old cars, and less for new cars. Rural states like Yobe have no car tax so that farmers can easily move their goods. There should be no import duties or age restrictions on cars at all. The car game is done - Nigeria will never play there. Let Nigeria focus on its strengths, not a dream of what will never happen.
TheCable@thecableng

EXCLUSIVE: FG cuts tariffs on cars, palm oil, sugar in new 2026 fiscal policy measures The federal government has approved the implementation of 2026 fiscal policy measures (FPM), which include significant tariff amendments. In a circular seen by TheCable dated April 1, 2026, and signed by Wale Edun, the minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, the government announced that the new measures supersede the 2023 FPM. thecable.ng/exclusive-fg-c…

One great mind I was opportune to ever listen and spoken with. A top security expert and analyst, a key member of the Civil-Military Security Teams has been dished disrespect instead of accolades at this crucial time 💔. Do these people even know what such actions do to the morale of men upfront? #Sentinel

This is the scene at Daneji, near the SAHAD Store in Mandawari. The people you are seeing are young men from different places. The former Accountant General of the Federation, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, has secured permanent (or steady) jobs for them in agencies such as NSCDC, Immigration, Customs, and others. Here, there are no office workers. They have their own separate group. Many of these young men have neither a mother nor a father — they are just indigenes of Kano State from various local government areas. May Allah SWT reward him with goodness. Those who are capable should emulate this man. He can be seen sitting in their midst. --- This appears to be a positive post praising Alhaji Ahmed Idris for helping vulnerable young men (especially orphans) from Kano by securing them jobs in federal security and paramilitary agencies.

Upon my return to Abuja, I was parked by a soldier on duty who asked where I was heading, and I mentioned FCT. He politely asked if could lift one of his colleagues to Abuja, and I said it was fine. When I was few meters close to Giri junction, I asked the officer his route, he was heading to Zuba while I was going through Lugbe axis to the town. I told him Zuba isn’t far. Transport is around 2-300 Naira. I asked if he was going to stop there(Zuba), or he was heading somewhere. He then told me he was going home to see for the first time after 10 months, his newly born twins. No permission was granted over the period. Sadly, he had to make the compulsory trip because his wife had called that one of the babies had died. And she urged him to come see the other twin in case he will die too. I asked him why he didn’t leave earlier than he left. He replied that he waited with the hope that salaries will be paid, since today is second, but it wasn’t, unfortunately. How then do you intend to make it, I asked him. He showed me all the money he had on him –4,500 which wasn’t even enough to get him to his destination. I could not help than give him 20k and I took his phone number, giving him my words that I will call to get information about the sick baby. I want to ask a question, please 🙏🏻 Are these the soldiers we expect to lay down their lives in our protection? You’re owing soldiers, and you want them to be effective while fighting insecurity? Sadly, this is really laughable. Tales of a soldier on easter.

On this my 74th birthday, I celebrate the valiant men and women of our Armed Forces. Today, I have directed the Accountant-General of the Federation to establish a special account for a fund dedicated to those who serve, those wounded in the line of duty, and the families of those who have paid the ultimate price. As a personal commitment, all my salaries since assuming office will be paid into this account as seed funding, irrespective of existing insurance and welfare schemes for members of our armed forces. This fund will directly support those who have lost their limbs, and the widows, widowers, and children of those who laid down their lives in service to our dear country. I call on our Governors, members of the National Assembly, the private sector, my friends and all well-wishers to support this initiative. Details of the account will be made available in due course. We must never forget those who stand in harm’s way for our peace, nor the sacrifices borne by their families. This is not charity. It is duty. And we will fulfil it. Sometime 2 years ago, I needed a clearance letter from the government house of a state in this country, to enable me engage in a particular venture. I went to the government house that fateful Monday morning where I met the secretary to the person whose signature I needed. She was a beautiful, dark skinned, tall and curvy young lady. By my estimation, she should be in her early 30s. She told me that I didn't have any appointment so I wouldn't be able to meet this person I desperately wanted to see. She didn't ask me my reasons for coming to see him, just outright dismissal. I left in disappointment, but I was determined to get to see this man. The next morning, I went back to the government house, and got the same treatment. This happened for 5 days until I asked her what the problem was. She said I didn't acknowledge her as a lady and she simply reciprocated the 'energy'. I was surprised, angry, infact I had waves of different emotions flood my body, but I didn't loose my cool. I apologized and she said she was just taunting me. She claimed to have told her boss on the first day I came, but he was too busy to attend to me. Finally, I ambushed him on his way to his car at around 1pm and he stopped briefly to 'attend' to me. When I introduced myself, his mood changed, he asked why I hadn't met his secretary to inform him that 'someone like me' was waiting to see him... Anyways we went back to his office, I had some refreshments, the letter was typed by his secretary and he signed it outrightly, we had a little discussion and I found out that his younger brother was my classmate in school. He gave me his private number and told me to keep in touch concerning anything he can do for me. When I got home, I got a call from an unknown number. I was skeptical, but I picked and found out it was the secretary. She was apologizing and finally made a statement that infuriated me; "You could have just introduced yourself to me the way you did to my boss. I would have made sure your letter would be the first item he attended to on the first day you came." So other citizens are not worth seeing or meeting a person appointed by the governor they employed to do a job? There are special treatments that are not worth it. Everyone is equal so why the discrimination? We are collectively not good people as Nigerians.

BREAKING: France to support Nigeria with military equipment following a lengthy phone call between President Tinubu and President Macron of France yesterday. Tinubu, who broke the news during a meeting with APC governors at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos, said Nigeria is prepared to leverage all its goodwill and existing lines of credit to acquire necessary equipment and training for security forces in the fight against terrorism.

Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward. They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died. She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu. She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭 She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict. He did not act alone. He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim. They planned it. They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away. They drove her out of Abraka into a bush. According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭 But they did not stop. They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals. They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them. The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her. The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation. Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers. One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest. But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018. The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment. Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge? My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back. She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict? Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed. Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten? Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved. Help us cry for justice @Hybrid_Ola @_meera__abdul @AdageorgeA @oku_yungx @Austeiin @lilyally98 @instablog9ja This is the news on BBC. It's everywhere on the Internet too google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.… #JusticeForElozino #EndRitualKillings
