@only_speaktruth @selfmaxxer @lporiginalg I’m f everyone presses the red button nothing happens right?
English

1. This is not a partisan experiment. The majority of Trump voters chose the blue button.
2. It's painfully obvious that reds are worse at mentally modeling blues than vice versa.
MentisWave 🐍🚁@MentisWave
The blue button red button thing has made me realize how many leftists really do genuinely just don't understand things.
English

@TheDunkCentral That’s ambitious, I thought he was about to retire given he didn’t even really play anymore
English

Anthony Davis says his goals before retiring are to play 20 years, win MVP, win DPOY, and another championship
“I haven’t got MVP. I haven’t got Defensive Player of the Year. I want the parade for a championship, so I want to be able to do that again… it’s still things I want to try to get. I want to get 20,000 points. I want to play 20 years.”

English

@only_speaktruth @SamerTheFutureM @DailyLoud @Sarakhanxoxo You fall you die. The brain will push the body past its “limits”
English

@BryanOnTheMic @ShitpostRock2 I didn’t even say I was a blue voter, I’ve said many times that I’d probably press red. So how is me merely understanding the blue side “virtue signaling?” Who am I even virtue signaling to? I don’t give a fuck how people perceive me on my anonymous twitter account.
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 It’s not about saving lives and that you framed it this way reveals you’re only interested in the virtue signaling optics of pressing blue, not its actual effect.
This is the real test - whether you’re interested in actions, or others perceived notion of the actions.
English

>Press Red
you are guaranteed to survive no matter what
>Press Blue
you are at the mercy of the rest of the world also pressing it
Nothing is forcing anyone to press blue and anyone who says they would press blue is trying to farm browniepoints and virtue signal

MrBeast@MrBeast
Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
English

@5411il @ShitpostRock2 Maybe you’re right. I might vote red. But that doesn’t make the blue side drooling retards.
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 90% of the world are from low trust societies but we'd get a 50% or higher blue right lol
English

@PutinLikePutin @cehennem_dunya1 @ShitpostRock2 I understand that. I might expect red majority and even vote red myself. Doesn’t mean I think blue voters are drooling retards. If more people thought like blue voters did then that’d be the ideal situation. Unless literally every single person went red.
English

@only_speaktruth @cehennem_dunya1 @ShitpostRock2 Nah man. You see, those "60%" of votes, are mostly English speaking aka western citizens, mostly adults or at least grownups. No kids etc. There is also no danger whatsoever, so everyone can act as brave as they want to, while in reality some would freak out and press red.
English

@_MortalMonkey @Antikristos666 @lporiginalg If you somehow knew beforehand every single person who would vote blue, blue wasn’t a majority, and they let you just not count their votes so they could live, then yeah duh?
Could also do that with every red voter.
English

@only_speaktruth @Antikristos666 @lporiginalg Ok, so we take away their right to vote, to save their lives. You wouldn't be opposed to that, would you?
English

@_MortalMonkey @Antikristos666 @lporiginalg 1. For one reason or another, people WILL vote blue. Whether it’s children, visually impaired, didn’t understand the options, etc.
2. To ensure none of those people die, blue majority is required. Thus incentivizing more people vote blue.
Which part don’t you understand?
English

@only_speaktruth @Antikristos666 @lporiginalg I just don't get how voting blue isn't an objectively stupid decision.
"Other people will vote blue, so I need to save them"
Why are they voting blue? To save you?
So it's just literally a death cult. You're throwing yourself into danger and hoping society will save you.

English

@Real_Shrigma @ShitpostRock2 “There is NO reward for voting blue!”
“Oh except maybe saving billions of people.”
It might seem circular - blue voters all trying to save other blue voters, but thats just the result of a blind vote. You cant assume everyone is just going team red, especially given the framing
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 There is no "blue side" because you are completely free to not sign up for the ultimate death gamble, you can just walk away, there is no reward for signing up for the gamble
there is no incentive to press blue other than save others who press blue but no one had incentive to
English

@jarlbillclinton @queenjess170 @flintarmstrong Things in the us are too spread out, we unfortunately need cars unless we undergo the most massive infrastructure change in world history
English

@queenjess170 @flintarmstrong this isn’t a factor of natural life. this is a factor of cars. ban them.
English

@JonesyBonesy36 @flintarmstrong Why are you judging the person in grief? If anything they just want people to understand that speeding kills so nobody has to suffer like them
English

@flintarmstrong If your wife has died in such shocking circumstances, why on earth would you consider posting on a social media platform about it? Truly odd behaviour.
English

@cehennem_dunya1 @ShitpostRock2 You’re making the false assumption that blue voters don’t want to live. 60% of people voted blue, you think 60% of the current population is suicidal?
You called me low iq, but look how ridiculous your own thought process is
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 I am not even taking the 0.000000000001% chance of dying in order to save retards who didn’t wanted to live in the first place
English

@Milan_nmg @ShitpostRock2 I mean respect for hearing out the blue side but it’s crazy that your first thought was “blue voters can all die, good riddance.”
Hope that was just a joke
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 Hmm still red cause I have no kids, otherwise blue
English

@Milan_nmg @ShitpostRock2 I believe the original poster clairified it was the latter scenario in the comments
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 Depends for me if its on the news like one day before it if you get teleported and you must vote right there and then
English

@Milan_nmg @ShitpostRock2 Right but it’s not just about you
You don’t know if your kids, your wife, your mom voted blue
Only way to prevent death is blue majority
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 Blue means you could die, red means that isn’t an thing
English

@shaggysurvives @JeffLadish Shouldn’t you skew more heavily towards red being pressed more often to ensure blue didn’t reach 50%?
English

@JeffLadish A DIGITAL WATCH???? thats fucking easy dude. assuming i dont have decide literally immediately, i sit for a minute, look at the clouds, appreciate being alive. then i look at the last digit on the seconds part of the watch and if its 0, 1, 2, or 3 then i press red
English

@cat_powered @bitcloud The odds of you having the deciding vote are not 1 in billions because in coin flip-like choices, results bunch heavily near the middle.
It’s still extremely low odds but look at the stakes, your 1 life vs 4 billion lives.
And for some it’s about the principle.
English

@bitcloud It’s like an election. The chance of your single vote influencing the outcome is effectively 0%.
So why gamble that this holds up in real life?
This holds even if you have kids who don’t understand game theory yet. You wouldn’t be saving them, you’d just be dooming yourself.
English

There are two buttons.
You know precisely 58% of people will press the blue button...
𝔏𝔲𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢𝔯𝔳𝔞@LumLotus
Has the amounts been staying the same for everyone else for last few hours? I can't tell if it's glitching on my end or if something very weird is going on.
English

@Milan_nmg @ShitpostRock2 There is no “smarter” answer. Voting blue isn’t inherently stupid. You’re just proving again that you fail to comprehend the dilemma.
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 So lets say 90% is smart enough to vote red, other 10% are very stupid so I’d call it natural selection
English

@HowlingWaterW88 @ShitpostRock2 This kind of response is exactly what I mean. Even in your framing of the blue side everything is so self centered. “I can’t live with being a bad person.” Instead of “I don’t want mass amounts of people to die.”
It’s like compassion for others is a foreign concept to you.
English

@only_speaktruth @ShitpostRock2 There is no other side to hear, just "I can't live with being a 'bad' person" and "I don't know anything about the world outside of the liberal west"
English

@apstrusus84 @five_slo @AdrianDittmann Or cause people care more about saving other people’s lives than they do about a stranger getting a cupcake
English

@five_slo @AdrianDittmann I can tell you from personal experience that changes significantly if you use a cupcake instead of death.
Odd how people will change their risk profile to not miss out on getting a cupcake but won't do so to avoid their own death but okay.
English
