@Garmin team, Forerunner 955 that has a failing barometer. Have tried all cleaning, no good. Well out of warranty. Is there a way that I can tell it to use the DEM always, so I don’t have to adjust my running data manually after every run?

@JohnGoldman Ram Ballarat Marathon yesterday (Australia). Nutrition 100% to plan, but issues with tib post tendon meant walking from 24km & a 5:45 finish. But; finished!! Helped a first timer get there (he wanted to quit), gave me the biggest hug when he made it.

One cool thing about the marathon is that you get to face the same 99 mph fastball as the top elites. On the same courses. On the same day. They take their shot. You take yours. Same game.

@tim_roozendaal Yes, orthotics in all shoes. Flat feet, plus apparently my run style is “unusual”. Land on the outer edge of forefoot & roll in. He tried me in multiple Hokas & Arahi felt best (Gaviota was second, Clifton felt odd). Years ago, was in Asics GT2000 without orthotics. Check time.

@pasavito So you have orthotics in the arahi 8? What was the reasoning for going with the arahi's?

My current top picks for daily trainers: 1. New Balance 880v15 One of the best allrounders currently. Comfortable, decent cushioning and can handle a variety of paces. 2. Brooks Ghost 17 The ghost 17 is really stable, even more than the adrenaline gts 25 currently. It works well for runners that want a stable shoe but not really a corrective shoe. Also good for walking. 3. Hoka Bondi 9. Offically a max cushioned shoe, but feels a lot more like a daily trainer. It is softer than the 2 above, but does still provide good stabillity with the big platform it's build on. Great for runners that are looking for building volume, rather than going fast. All shoes are close to each other but differ in the details mentioned.

Would like to thank @metrotrains for supporting football crowds at Richmond by cancelling loop services tonight so there’s only 1 train from Richmond to Flinders St in 45 minutes.

@OperationalInc1 Cranbourne station car park last Tuesday was 3/4 fill at 0530. Both my daughters have said the trains in rush hour are packed within the first 2 stations. But, more than half the people change at Caulfield for loop trains.

@Sarah59321051 @Peter_Fitz Yes. The trend is people are moving from a moderate/hard right party to a hard/far right party. But people aren’t moving from centre left. It will be different in VIC because people are done with Allan & her ignorance of clear corruption.
