In fact there are a few holes and some of the patch work has come loose and is missing. So why do I keep this old quilt ? What makes it special even in its tattered and torn condition? You see it was made by my grandmother and each stitch was made by her sweet hands. Each piece of patch work was formed with love . That old quilt is more that just cloth because it was created by love . Some of us , like that old quilt, are tattered by lifes storms. We are well worn and stained by living in this old world. Some may look at us in judgement because of our condition. But we are unique, special, loved and highly favored. Why? Because of the one who made us, the one that formed us and stitched us together in our mothers womb. You are loved, cherished and precious. Kept by Jesus who came to save you when others said throw you out. "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
