To be fair they need that when you view the city from the rooftops and it seems like it's the same couple of buildings instanced several times with slightly different rotations/positions. These buildings are pulled into memory only once, culled when you don't see them so it doesn't get rendered.

Long time user of both here - those are actually great examples of how AI can benefit old behemoth legacy apps and companies like this.
Not a single person at Adobe has much of a clue what's under the hood in either Maya or Max, but that code can be parsed, disentangled and improved on by AI, enabling true, deep updates to both app engines for the first time in decades (instead of piling more functions on top of the existing monolith).

Impressive. If AI can use the same interface as humans, the artist can step in at any time to tweak it rather than wrestle a prompt box.

I built an agentic system that taught itself the Blender donut tutorial by watching it on YouTube. It watched the tutorials, extracted the steps, filled in the gaps in own tooling and completed the entire thing autonomously.

I agree with the statement that this game won't be a 10/10. When you are trying to do so many things at once, most of those things won't be amazing.
That being said I just hope combat is good, that is all I need.
