Got rejected the first time I applied and almost left it there, but tried again. Woke up to a mail from @GabbyShires saying GitFriend is in the Winter Cohort of the @vercel Open Source Program for the next 12 months. The last few weeks were quiet with small commits and slow progress, just building without noise. Glad I reapplied.

I love this! The hardest part of my job (besides being a hilarious icon 24/7) is choosing folks for the OSS Cohort at @vercel. I go through every single application and put a lot of thought into who gets the limited number of spots we have. It’s tough because I love open source and all of the projects are so great. I’m so happy when people keep building, grow their projects, and apply again! Just. Keep. Shipping.
