@chelsssseeeea It’s high risk low reward actually. Counterintuitive i know. Let me explain, it's called high risk because of the math of the payout, not the likelihood of the event. In gambling and trading, "risk" isn't just how often you win - it's how much you lose when you're wrong.

Maybe I’m dumb but why don’t people just put money in prediction markets on events that are 90% certain or higher? Seems like a very simple way to make money with very low risk.

Factoring in how much time they put into my presence it shouldnt be 30$ it should be like maybe half, is that reasonable or retarded?

Percentages make no sense for tipping. I go to a restaurant and order a $20 steak. Guy at the table next to me orders a $100 steak. If I tip $5 I’m considered a great tipper, but he’s expected to tip at least $20. Why? The server literally did the same amount of work!

@ronrule Yeah you should factor in how many times they had to come to the table and how busy it was (and how friendly/competent they are). Usually the dollar value is just an estimation on how much time they roughly spent dealing with your table. Higher values = more time. Usually.

I don't think YGO is truly "more complex" than MTG, it just doesn't use space-saving text. In MTG, most effects are keyworded while YGO has very few. YGO's resource system is actions vs interactions which TCG players struggle to understand compared to a slower turn system

@TraderMercury i play a game called slither io, and it taught me its better to wait for the larger htf moves. You can trye to kill small snakes but it will be futile. Better to do watch, position yourself, for when the large snake dies not from your effort then go in.

overtrading will be most people’s downfall even if one buys the bottom they’re hardwiring their brain to sell too early by focusing on insignificant moves in the market a +3% candle starts to feel big, so a +30% rally starts to feel unrealistic. always been how that works.

Why are people talking about it a banlist now? Rarity will be out soon, Blaze is in May. It’d be more realistic post-Blaze if anything. But the format rn is super diverse. There are some outlier degenerate cards (DiFi, Mistaken Arrest) and some heavy advantage cards but eh.

@TraderMercury Thanks for the reality/sanity check based on an objective view. Everyone on my timeline over the weekend was charting out 40-60k bottom, and with the recent ltf pump on btc people are getting bullish. They might be right but yes lets wait for reclaims.

$BTC it's no longer an incentivizing reward to be speculating on bottoms the time to do that was early February, when we capitulated into $60k support or Late February, when literal bombs got dropped and price held Higher Lows now you're better off just waiting for reclaims.

Not to speak on the quality of either game, but I feel like the average ultimate player understands melee far better than the average melee player understands ultimate
