@Rhymestyle FS mainly dipped in popularity due to Closed Moon’s banning, which was a solid ban. I can see Prayers limited to push Mitsu’s utility further down. But Habakiri would have to be banned at some point with how thorough ritual bridging is becoming to reduce monotony in deckbuilds.

@Rhymestyle Appo was released in 2019 and had a lasting reign for 5 years before being banned. Habakiri has existed for a year. There’s a stark contrast in time existing in the game. Now, not every deck is running Mitsu, and I can see that engine falling out of favor eventually like FS.

@LMJeffJones The Chess deck's playstyle, man yugioh really does know how to just make decks work so uniquely despite 25+ years of design. The open-endedness of mechanics and board space just lends itself to such cool possibilities. Pawn move to opponent's board, banish a card cause enpassent.

I saw this and thought “crap. Blazing dominion comes out May so chaos origins won’t be out until after WCQ :(“ BUT THEN SURPRISE chaos origins comes out only 2 months after Blazing Dominion July 1st right before WCQ and with a new world premier Chess deck that sounds SICK AF

Probably the most compact starter deck packaging I’ve ever seen. Size is equivalent to a box of sleeves. I’m a fan of how little waste it creates. Good stuff!

@MBTYuGiOh My biggest gripe with this short is that it breaks a rule of using music with vocals in it in a video where someone is speaking. That’s just too much gibberish going on for a viewer to process. If it was Family Guy Funny Moments though, I’d accept it because Peter funny.
