@ATLairport As anyone who regularly travels knows it’s time for @ATLairport to replace ALL of their screening equipment, the automated system they were sold drastically increases time through security. Staffing is a big issue, the equipment they have in place is only compounding the problem!

Due to TSA staffing constraints, ATL is continuing to see longer than normal wait times at security checkpoints. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at least 4 hours early. We appreciate your patience and thank our federal and airport partners for their continued dedication.

@GopherPuckLive We’ll see what happens after they talk, but that was not the play of a desperate hockey team with their season in the line. Alarming!

Much better effort tonight for the #Gophers although they had to hold on there during the third. It's OT, for NPI a win in 3 on 3 counts as 0.6 wins and 0.4 loss.

@evegoe Micheletti disgusted on the broadcast. Bob’s one me man forecheck and ice it any chance you have isn’t the path forward. The talent on this team demands better than what’s being given.

Not a good two minutes as Minnesota looked tired and disorganized trying to get through the neutral zone.

Michigan leading in shots 8-1 this period -- with 11:49 to go in regulation. #Gophers having a tough time stringing things together although Jimmy Clark draws a trip from Cole McKinney behind the Minnesota net.

@GopherPuckLive It’s a shame they haven’t played like the last 9 minutes all season.

Gopher Game Notes
Gopher Game Notes@GopherGameNotes·
Notes from the #Gophers’ 4-1 loss to Minnesota Duluth: • The Gophers dropped to 2-5-1 on the season, matching their lowest win total through eight games in the Bob Motzko era. In Motzko’s first season with the team in 2018-19, Minnesota also started 2-5-1 and went on to finish 18-16-4. • Minnesota Duluth completed its third sweep at 3M Arena at Mariucci—its first since 2009—and swept the Gophers in the regular season for the 17th time, ever. Minnesota has 36 regular-season sweeps against the Bulldogs after it won back-to-back games in Duluth in the second weekend of 2024-25. • Minnesota’s one win is its fewest in its first six home games of a season since 1971-72. This year’s Gophers are 1-4-1 on home ice, while the 1971-72 squad started 1-5-0 at the old Mariucci Arena. That team finished with a 4-11-0 home record and went 8-24-0, overall. • Minnesota was swept for the first time in almost exactly two years, when Wisconsin won both games in a Thursday-Friday Big Ten-opening set at 3M Arena at Mariucci on Oct. 26-27, 2023. The last time the Gophers were swept in a non-conference series was when the Bulldogs won both ends of a home-and-home series on Oct. 22-23, 2021. The last time Minnesota was swept at home in non-conference play was Nov. 28-29, 2019 when it lost back-to-back games against North Dakota at 3M Arena at Mariucci. • Thanks in large part to Adam Gajan’s 45 saves on 46 shots, the Gophers were held to one goal in a two-game series for the first time since Minnesota Duluth beat them 3-1 and 3-0 in a home-and-home set on Oct. 16-17, 2015. Kasimir Kaskisuo stopped 44-of-45 shots on the weekend. The last time Minnesota was held to one goal or fewer in a home series was on Oct. 23-24, 2009 when Denver won back-to-back 3-0 games and Marc Cheverie stopped all 60 shots he faced (30 in each game). • UMD sophomore goaltender Adam Gajan stopped 45-of-46 shots this weekend to improve to 2-2-0 in his career against the Gophers. Gajan flipped the script from last year, when he conceded 11 goals on 82 shots (.866 save percentage) in losses to Minnesota in the first two home starts of his career. Gajan became the first underclassman netminder to complete a sweep of the Gophers since North Dakota sophomore Adam Scheel did it in November of 2019. • Tate Pritchard’s second-period goal ended a 90:41 goalless drought for the Gophers. The scoreless streak was Minnesota’s longest since it went without a goal for 139:25 between Dec. 10, 2022 and Jan. 8, 2023. The 2022-23 scoreless streak began after Logan Cooley scored Minnesota's sixth goal in a span of 5:53 in a 6-4 win over Wisconsin and ended after Matthew Knies scored a third-period game-tying goal in a 2-1 overtime win against St. Cloud State. The Huskies blanked the Gophers, 3-0, the previous night in St. Cloud. • Mason Moe provided the primary assist on Tate Pritchard’s goal and, with three points in six games this season, is one of eight Gophers averaging a half a point per game or better. After missing the season-opening series against Michigan Tech, Moe has notched one point in Minnesota’s series against Boston College, North Dakota, and Minnesota Duluth. • Beckett Hendrickson assisted on Tate Pritchard’s goal and now has five points on the season, tied for third on the team. Hendrickson also leads the squad with a +6 rating on the season. Through eight games last year, Hendrickson had one goal and one assist. • Jacob Rombach was the lone Gopher with a positive plus/minus rating on the night. Rombach is second on the team this season with a +4. • For the seventh time in eight games, the Gophers had more blocked shots than their opponent. Led by two apiece from Brodie Ziemer and Luke Mittelstadt, the Gophers posted 12 blocks to UMD’s nine. Minnesota still holds the national lead in blocked shots with 141 on the season. Through eight games last season, the Gophers had 97 blocked shots. • Minnesota outshot UMD, 29-24, and lost for the first time this season when outshooting its opponent, dropping to 1-1-1 in such games. The Gophers have averaged 22.6 shots per game. Last season, Minnesota averaged 35.1 shots per game. Minnesota’s shot differential stands at -49 after eight games. The 2024-25 Gophers finished with a +318 shot differential and were +101 with a 7-1-0 record through eight games.

It must be weird to have a kicker who doesn't have the leg to make a 54-yard FG. Brandon Aubrey, I will NEVER take you for granted!
