Jimmy Snuggerud is the first former Gopher to earn an NHL Three Stars award as a rookie. Seven different #Gophers have combined to collect 22 NHL weekly honors. The last to do it was Logan Cooley, who was the NHL Second Star of the Week on Oct. 26, 2025.

With fellow former #Gophers captain Grant Potulny as his head coach, Brody Lamb will make his professional debut tonight for the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. Lamb will be the 55th former Gopher to skate professionally in 2025-26 and the 23rd to play in the AHL. Hartford takes on the Providence Bruins at the Amica Mutual Pavilion. Minnesota has played three all-time games at the AMP, formerly known as the Providence Civic Center. The Gophers' lone victory at the arena was a 6-4 triumph over Denver in the 1986 NCAA Tournament consolation game. Lamb's father, Jeff, scored for the Pioneers in the first period of that contest.
