In case it isn't obvious what I'm partially subtweeting here: I find the fanfiction that many oldheads have written and gaslit into being true about a supposed "proper ending" where Eridan comes back to life and is redeemed into one of the Good Guys(tm) to be very funny.

I feel like a lot of the "X character was killed off too early" rhetoric in the Homestuck fandom tends to come from these characters being written with such depth and precision that readers forget that these characters are meant to be, above all, devices for telling a story.

@sburbanon Classpects typically have a literal and metaphorical application. So yes JJK blood manipulation would fall under the literal umbrella. The other side of the coin is a bit messier but most people seem to agree that it's related to bonds in someway, ties that bind and allat.
