The term 'greenhouse effect' is only one of the many metaphors from 40 years of climate crisis.
Real greenhouses promote plant growth in a controlled environment. Transparent window panels to allow heat in while preventing cooling airflow. In our open atmosphere, there are no such barriers.
It's part of a wider UN PR strategy and the climate crisis is just the mechanism. We saw the jet-setting politicians, bureaucrats and industrialists cruising at 40,000 feet to luxurious annual COP junkets to save the planet.
Free wind and sunlight don't provide essential baseload power, yet this sideline is costing the world $9.2 trillion a year to find out (McKinsey, 2022). You can't run a modern war machine on wind-solar or pitchforks and you can't have modern society either. These things should be self evident.
President Donald Trump is the first of today's international leaders to cancel the global warming policy trajectory. He shouldn't be the last.

the federal carbon price was supposed to hit $170 by 2030. alberta froze theirs at $95. carney can't force them without a fight. he's respecting jurisdiction. smith is playing politics.
