@normal_danny For me it's about the people, friends, socialising, not necessarily the run or the location. Although interesting locations do help. I mix it with other stuff too some Saturdays and that way it stays good :-)

Commonwealth games are Go! First day of four at the Velodrome with the medical team watching the amazing athletes. Some fabulous close races already. Athletics next week :-)

Feels pretty special to race my first Commonwealth Games at a home track here in London. Crowds were insane for our first day of racing with the team sprint! Looking forward to the next few days 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🦄

London marathon 2021 done! I'm sitting down in St. James park not entirely sure I'll be able to get up again! I can honestly say the least 10k was tough. That's what you do on no long run training.

Yay, back to parkrun. Volunteering today at the quite new Storeys Field in Cambridge. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic to see and chat with so many I haven't seen in person since pre-pandemic. Obviously stopped for a decent coffee post parkrun :-)
