@matthew_loftus That’s not entirely true. Probabilities, partially driven by lifestyle choices and other life circumstances, can explain / predict part of the individual risk. That said, the magnitude of this long tail risk is exactly why insurance is so important.

The crazy part is that over your lifetime you have no idea whether you'll be in that 5 percent.

There is almost no point in the Bears trying to go big on big with the Steelers this week without their top three ILBs. They might just play a bunch of dime and try to be quicker than the Steelers’ heavy packages. That makes a good deal of sense with their injuries/limitations.

With time to think it all over, here is where I think Greg Olsen was wrong: In today's NFL, a "two score game" of 10 pts vs 13 pts is wildly different, particularly w little time left on the clock. 50 yd FGs are no problem & 60-65 are certainly possible. So just getting to midfield is enough. Getting in the EZ is totally different. Discounting the difference btwn a 10 pt & 13 pt lead is a BIG mistake. Having said all that, you can't give up a 99 yd TD drive. #Steelers
