@Inyo22RBLX and despite what many people tell you, there isn't a true "correct way to code", as long as it functions the way you wanted it to and it looks and feels good in game, that's good enough

@Inyo22RBLX been a scripter for 4 years myself tutorials are a pretty good way to learn, i recommend GnomeCode's tutorials (i personally started on his tower defense ones) as he explains everything instead of just giving you code (look at reply)

Can anyone point me to some good tutorials to begin learning how to script on Roblox?

@Inyo22RBLX another piece of advice i have is to look through uncopylocked games and just see how they tick as it would turn out, many games aren't as complex as people think they are most of it is just polish

@Inyo22RBLX all coding, even if it's just a simple single script game or a massive 2000+ line behemoth gives you skill no matter how insignificant it may seem to you it was only recently in the past year that i started to really understand modulescripts

@Inyo22RBLX once you've done that, take everything you've learned and just mess around in studio with scripts, try making simple stuff (i started with a crappy storm simulator) you'll slowly learn over time, if you feel like you aren't making progress try something new
