Yup. I’ve reported several direct threats (“kill yourself”, “I will kill you”, “die in a gas chamber”, etc.) and not one has been determined by @x to be a violation.
On the other hand, my wife’s account was suspended (permanently) after she criticized Islam.
But it’s cool, because there are no actual humans who you can talk to at X about it.

@hvael_ Losing Jimmy in Season 2 turned out to be pretty brutal for the cast dynamic. Even losing Summer probably had a reverberating effect through the rest of the season where a huge source of potential friction and noise was suddenly gone.

@lambdrool @stainfool True story I took my brother to go get a PS3.. it was the 2nd to last time I ever stepped foot in a shopping mall.. (the last time was to pick up Metal Gear 4) and it came with Spider Man on Bluray. I never watched it and I don't think he did either.

You can already sort of do it with the SteamDeck rescue ISO but presumably this is going to become more accessible.

@lambdrool @stainfool This is why I said diminishing returns. Resolution is bottlenecked by display size, which is bottlenecked by viewing distance.
You would have to be watching on an enormous display to actually get the full benefits of 4k.
Maybe he does but most people don't.

@eshaanissar @lambdrool @stainfool Yeah, Akira had a theatrical release which means it was probably 35mm film. From what I understand, they did actually derive the 4k release from that. If I remember correctly, 4k is probably the closest modern digital resolution standard to 35mm.

Did they rescan the original animation cels to digital 4k? Many times those were composites so that would be difficult, so it's probably a digital remaster.
