A United Airlines passenger recorded himself being drenched by water leaking from the cabin ceiling of the aircraft during a flight. Visuals show him seated as a steady stream of water pours directly onto his head and his clothing got soaked. Passenger claimed that the response from the crew was not appropriate, with paper towels being supplied as assistance to deal with the situation. Also claimed, no alternative seating was arranged, leaving him in the same location as the leak continued. #paxex #travel

Now for XLR update: I smelled fumes before takeoff on both legs so that is still an issue on Airbus, the bathroom situation is ridiculous (1 in front & 3 in the back of coach) so we’re constantly moving carts to let people pass by, tight galley, trash management is difficult, crew rest seats are a joke, first class is so tight you can’t pass anyone in the aisle, premium economy/ coach meal trays are tiny so you’re stacking everything and it’s falling off… shall I keep going? It’s not flight attendant friendly. Hard to work, especially in first class where you’re dealing with the entertainment screens that have to be pushed aside every time you serve someone.

So y’all have probably seen the BYD crazy charging claims shown at MFR demos etc I went to a random dealership, found a crashed car, and plugged it in to see what happened More importantly is that the Gen 2 Blade LFP cell that will power every BYD EV is capable of this charging time. This means even the cheapest BYD car will charge just as fast as their top models, and they’ll all reach full in under 10 minutes. 🤯 So, while companies are still launching cars with 10-80% times in the 30 minute range, a little BYD Dolphin will soon do it in around 6 minutes. Go ahead, tell me again how slow charging EVs are acceptable? ⚡️ ⚡️
