@DavidOndrej1 The loser mindset is the getting the PTO and still showing up. Shouldn’t got the PTO and maybe married in off office hours if he loved his job that much

@aryanlabde That stack adds up fast. This is why more teams are moving toward usage-based setups so you only pay for what you actually use. Tools like Kilo Code help reduce the need for multiple subscriptions by giving access to different models in one place.

Nobody talks about the cost of vibe coding. Claude, cursor, vercel, supabase. You’re paying $200/month in tools to build a product making $0.

Genuine question. If Claude can clone your entire SaaS in 45 minutes, why would anyone pay you $29/month for it? What is your actual moat?

The way @AnthropicAI is headed they should charge for the 16000 tokens of system prompt.

@FireworksAI_HQ Seeing regressions with Firepass Kimi 2.5 Turbo? Recently the model needs repeated prompting when handling many tasks. I gave ~15 small plus a few large improvements in one pass, but it completed only some and deferred the rest to later phases even after followup

GLM 5.1 has been my favourite model for OpenClaw. It's capable and cheap... been enjoying it

I tried Kilo, OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex and Pi coding agent so far. For me personally Kilo and Pi Coding Agent works best. I’m still figuring out the best way to use PI for my workflow.

It seems like the day has come to leave Anthropic. Initially, I loved Claude Code. It was a good harness and a simple TUI... and I had learned to eat my tokens with a sauce of subsidy. Before joining the Max plan, I had paid $280 in one weekend of development on Attachments. Sadly, as time went on, Claude Code became a terrible flickering TUI mess. This is now my biggest north star in building: don't do feature bloat and accept half-working vibe slop like the Claude Code team. I really respect Boris and the team, I just see the result of their experiment and I don't like using it. So, I stopped loving Claude Code and started tolerating it. It was a good harness and a terrible flickering TUI. Then they started to mess with the prompt and behavior — it became an even worse TUI (because every week was worse) and a bad harness. I complained here. People told me Pi is great. I tried Pi. Pi is great. Now, they have blocked me from using Claude Code Max on Pi. Makes sense, but I learned to like my tokens with a sauce of subsidy. So I'll start to do prompt optimization on Codex. If it was not for the subsidy, I would make Gemini's edit tool work and use that with Grok 4.2 and some open-source mix. Claude is good, but Claude Code is bad, and token subsidies are better than both. On the subsidies: my bet is that by the time they stop, we will have models that cost about that price to operate at that quality. In my estimate, subsidies are just bringing that future ahead a bit.

I spent the last few days trying to build something on top of the Pi coding agent SDK. Qwen 3.6, Kimi 2.5 and GLM 5.1 all failed. I gave up and did it myself in a few hours today. I’m not sure if the LLM is making us slower.

Ramesh Gupta died in 2019. Heart attack. 54 years old. He had a ₹50 lakh term insurance policy. Premiums paid without a single default for 11 years. His wife filed the death claim. The insurance company said: "We need to investigate." They investigated for 3 years. Kept asking for documents. She kept submitting. They kept asking for more. She couldn't pay the home loan EMI. Sold the car. Borrowed from relatives. In 2022, they finally rejected the claim. Said Ramesh had a pre-existing condition he "didn't disclose." The condition: slightly high blood pressure. Noted in a routine checkup in 2015. Never treated. Never medicated. She went to IRDAI. Then consumer court. The court said: A condition that was never treated and never affected his health cannot be used to reject a claim 11 years later. ₹50 lakh ordered paid. Plus 9% interest from 2019. Plus ₹1 lakh for mental harassment. They made a widow wait 3 years. Then rejected her. A court gave her everything back. With interest. Save this post. If an insurance claim is rejected citing "non-disclosure" — fight it. Courts have consistently ruled against insurers using minor, untreated conditions as grounds for rejection.

@AskDyson what kind of dishonesty is this? First I was kept on hold to machine exchange pickup then was told I’ll get the new machine once you receive the product. And now you’re saying it’s being repaired. Unbelievable. Don’t buy dyson if you’re seeing this.

@nahcrof UI needs rework in terms of looking it modern. Right now it gives a vibe of coded by an intern. You could use better sidebar, item separation (documentation should not be with dashboard and playground). The sidebar should be open always on wider screen.

Sorry if this comes across rude but if you don’t like the ui (or any part of it), feel free to tell me. If you complain and provide no explanation as to WHY you don’t like it, I will probably just ignore you because I want the best experience but I can’t fix “bad”
